Once I pulled out of the hug with Nathan, I checked the time to see that I had at least 2 hours before my mom came home and sighed.
"Did you want some dinner, Nathan?" I ask as he looks at me weirdly. "Uhm... Sorry, Lettie but, dinner isn't until 6:30. Do you mean Lunch?" He asks as I give him the 'duh' look.
He smiles at me before following me into the kitchen. As I walk into the kitchen the house phone starts to ring as I run and pick it up.
"Hello?" \Hey Sweetie/ "Oh, hey mom. What's up?" \I'm not coming home tonight. I'm flying to America for a business trip for a few weeks. Will you be okay at home on your own?/ "Uhm... How many weeks is a few?" \In between 4 and 5. You can have Justin over?/
I feel a lump form in my throat and tears sting my eyes.
"Actually, Justin broke up with me." \Oh Honey, I'm sorry. Is there anyone else to comfort you?/ "Nathan. He can stay over." \Who's Nathan?/ "He's just a friend I made at the doctors a few months ago." \Alright honey. Well, I'll see you in a few weeks okay?/ "Okay. Bye mom. Love you." \Love you too./
My mom hangs up as I turn to Nathan.
"Wanna stay over for 4-5 weeks?" I ask as he laughs. "I can't stay every night for 4-5 weeks, Lettie." He says as I raise my eyebrows. "Why not?" I ask as he wraps his arms round my waist. "Because I won't be able to keep my hands off you." He groans into my ear as I feel my face get hot.
I push him away before smirking and walking into the kitchen.
"Lettie?" He questions as I turn around, my puppy eyes coming out, "Please don't do that." He says as I look down before looking up at him again. "Please, Nathan. Please stay." I say letting my eyes tear up and letting the tears roll down my cheeks.
Nathan sighs and gives up.
"Fine. I'll stay." He says as I smile and jump into his arms. "Yay!" I exclaim as he looks at me, "I can make myself cry easy." I say as he nods.
Once Nathan had put me down, I start to make us some food before we sit at the table and eat it.
"Okay so, can you give me a lift to the doctor's so I can pick up my car and then we can go back to mine so I can pack some stuff?" Nathan asks me as I nod. "Of course we can." I say as he smiles at me.
Nathan takes my hand across the table and strokes his thumb across the back of my hand. I feel tingles go through my whole arm as I get shivers and blush.
"I wanna take you out. Tonight." He says as I look up at him. "Like a date?" I ask as he nods. "Yeah, like a date." He says as I nod. "O-Okay." I reply as he smiles.

Once Nathan had picked up his car and picked up some things for the next 5 weeks, I got ready for our 'date'.

I walk down the stairs as Nathan's eyes open wide and he goes red as I smile and tuck some of my hair behind my ear.
"Wow. You look..." He trails off as I frown. "Oh God. I knew it looked bad. I'll change." I go to walk up the stairs as Nathan grabs my hand. "No, you look gorgeous. Don't change." He says as I smile and blush a little, still holding onto his hand.
Nathan leads me out to his car and opens the door for me. I get in and do up my seatbelt before Nathan starts the car and drives us to a restaurant just outside of town. He helps me out before walking in and asking for his reservation.
"Name?" The waiter asks as Nathan smiles. "Sykes." He says as the waiter shows us to our table and puts the menus down in front of us. "What could I get you to drink, sir?" He asks as Nathan smiles. "Uhm... Just a bottle of your finest champagne please." Nathan says as I smile and wait for the waiter to leave. "Nathan, can you afford this?" I ask as he nods. "Yeah. I asked mom to transfer a little bit of money. I have at least £300 on my card so, I should be able to." He says as I nod. "If you need extra..." He cuts me off. "No. My treat." He says as I nod. "Okay." I say as the waiter brings us our drink before we order our food.

Once we get back to mine, I'd forgotten all about Justin and I was having an amazing time.
"Thank you for taking me out tonight, Nathan. I really had fun." I say locking my door as he smiles. "It was my pleasure, Lettie. I just wanna make you smile." He says as I smile again and hug him. "Thank you." I say as he hugs me back. "It's okay. I just love seeing your amazing smile. I wanna make you happy. I never want to see you sad." Nathan says as I look into his eyes and smile.
He starts to lean down as I turn my head, making him kiss my cheek.
"Sorry, Nathan. I just... I had a really great night with you but, it's still too early. I think we should go to bed." I say as he follows me to my room.
I take all my makeup off before going into the bathroom to change. When I walk back in my room, Nathan's already laid in bed waiting for me to join him. I smile before taking all my jewellery off. I take my hair down and brush the curls out before tying it into a side braid.
I slide into my bed beside Nathan and smile as his arms go round me.
"Goodnight, Lettie." He says kissing me cheek as I smile and close my eyes. "Goodnight, Dr. Sykes."
