Chris Brown

"Babe," I smiled as Savannah walked into my office. "You look beautiful, as always."

"Thank you." She kissed my lips. "Are you ready to go?"

"Yeah. Are you ready for this appointment?" She took a deep breath as I gathered my things.

"If that's going to put an end to these pregnancy assumptions then yes."

Savannah and I are finally going to this doctor's appointment. I'm pretty anxious and nervous. I don't know what to expect. And if why she's been feeling how she's been feeling has nothing to do with being pregnant, I hope she's okay and it's nothing too serious.

"You know it's crazy if you are after we just talked about waiting to have a baby." I said to her.

"I really doubt I am but yes that's crazy."

"Lighten up, Sav. Even though we're going to see if you're pregnant, a little check up wouldn't hurt. And don't hate me because I'm being cautious."

"Are you serious? I do not hate you. You're just annoying." I laughed and kissed her forehead and took hold of her hand.

"C'mon."

We made our way to the car after locking up my office. The whole car ride to the doctor's, she did her best to avoid talk about a baby and being pregnant. It confused me because just a few weeks ago she was telling me that she wanted to try again at having a baby again and now she's trying to speak into existence that she's not pregnant. It's weird.

"Savannah Brown?" They called as we sat in the waiting room. She wrinkled up her face looking at me then the nurse. I laughed.

"Brown?" She repeated.

"I might've put that down on the papers. It sounded beautiful." She smirked and then stood up.

"Well I'm sorry, but until you put a ring on my left finger with the right proposal and intentions of marrying me, it's still Underwood." With that she walked away and I followed.

"You're feisty for no damn reason." I whispered. We made our way to the room and I sat down in a chair and Savannah sat down on the patience's' bed.

"I'm nurse Alicia. What brings you two in today?" She asked sitting in a different chair and pulling out her clipboard and pen.

"We're just worried she might be pregnant."

"He's just worried I might be pregnant." Savannah corrected me. I gave her a look and the nurse chuckled.

"Have you taken a home pregnancy test?" She asked Savannah.

"Yes I have and it was negative which is why I don't understand why we're here right now." I blew my breath and stood up.

"The test was negative and based on what I read online, home pregnancy tests can give false negatives."

"Don't believe everything you read on the internet, Chris." Savannah snapped.

"Well no, he's right. Home pregnancy tests can give false negatives sometimes for several reasons. We can take another urine test if you'd like."

"No, I want something more accurate that I know can't be wrong." I said to her.

"Additional options would be a blood test or an ultrasound. I would recommend a blood test because it's the most accurate, an ultrasound could still work though depending on how long she's been pregnant. I just need to ask a few more questions."
