Ch.43||Singing Competition!||

•°•Katelyn's POV•°•

Everyone one the house was bored. No one knew what to do and we were all exhausted from yesterday. I lied down on the couch, starring up at the ceiling while the others watched Gravity Falls.

"GUUUUUUYS!!!!" Nicole screamed as she ran over with a piece of paper in her hand.

"What?" We asked.

"There's gonna be a singing competition at the beach! We can enter!" She said.

"Really? That's sounds fun—" Laurance started.

"It's for girls." She said.

"Oh...well I guess Aphie is gonna have to sing to me then~" He said. She squealed.

That kinda sounds fun. Maybe I'll enter. I don't know if I'm the best singer though.

"Kawaii~Chan is totally entering!" Kc said. "So she can sing to Zane~Kun!" Zane blushed.

"I swear, since when were you two a thing!?" Aphmau's asked. They shrugged.

"I'll enter. Seems like fun." I said.

"Ooh, so you can sing to Travis~Kun!" Kc said. Everyone said "Oooh~!" including Travis.

"No, I won't! I just wanna sing." I sing.

"Whatever you say!" Nicole said. "So the competition starts in ten minutes so we better quickly get over there."

We went over to the beach where it was gonna be held. The audience wasn't very big. Good, I won't get major stage fright like I always do.

The people competing in the singing competition were Aphmau, Kc, Nicole, me, and a few other girls from the island.

Aphmau was the first to sing. She sang Safe and Sound. Of course. She just loves that song! But she was pretty good. Then Kc went, then Nicole, then all the girls we didn't know, and then I was last. I walked up to the stage a bit nervous. I picked up the mic and began to sing my song.

Everyone in the audience clapped and cheered. I smiled and walked off the stage.

"Katelyn, that was really good! How did you do that!?" Aphmau asked. I blushed.

"Thanks! And I'm not really sure. I don't think I'm very good." I said

"Whaaat!? That was AMAZING, Katelyn~Sama!" Kc said.

"Heh, well thank you." I said.

Guy walked onto the stage to announce the winner.

"Wow, what an amazing show! And what beautiful and talented young ladies! It was surely difficult to choose the winner! The winner will win a free trip on a boat that will take you to a private island! And they will also be able to bring along two friends as well! Anyway, time to announce the winner *ahem*." He said.

Please don't be me, I don't deserve this!

"Katelyn Firefist!" He said.

What!? Seriously!?

"Yay! Katelyn, you won! Congrats!" Aphmau said. I smiled and walked onto the stage again. People clapped and cheered again. I saw Travis in the crowd and smiled at him. He did the same. He looked to the left to tell me to go there when we were allowed to leave. So that's what I did.

"So, whatcha need?" I asked. He took my hand and ran backstage where no one was at. He pushed me against the wall and kissed me. I blushed. He pulled away.

"Katelyn, that was amazing! And super sweet." He said with a smile. I smiled back.

"It was true, too." I said. We leaned in to kiss again but everyone came running over and trapped me in a group hug.

"KATELYN, THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL!"

"I knew you loved Travis!"

"That was so amazing!"

"Wow um....thanks!" I said. When everyone pulled away, Aphmau gasped and asked,

"But who are you taking on the island?"

I thought for a bit.

"Travis and Jeffrey."
