Familiar faces (Luke Brooks)

Chapter 16

Auroras PoV

Lukes screamed and I jumped off the counter. Luke tried to grab me but missed as the knife in his back was his biggest problem right now.

I slipped on some vomit and bashed my head on the counter but I couldn't have that holding my back I stood up and with a light head I grabbed my pants and tried to put them off as I ran to the door of the apartment. Freedom was finally mine. Luke was running over and I frantically  looked around for the keys. I grabbed the keys and unlocked the door. Blood was tricking down my head and I could feel it and my head went weak but I had to fight it and carry on. I manged to unlock the door as Luke came litrally right behind me and I began to run but Luke grabbed hold of me. I tried to scream but no noise came out and I tried to fight back Luke but no power was coming out. Eveything just merged together before my eyes were taken over by blackness.

I slowly began to open my eyes. My head hurt, I realised that was just laying in the doorway. I remember Luke dragging me back and then blackness, but why had he left me just laying here, but he had handcuffed me.

I ignored the throbbing in my head and the pain in my leg and the burning in my throat and tried to stand up, which is a challenge when your arms are twisted behind your back but I managed

The apparent still had the body's laying around and blood and vomit. But no Luke.

I began to think he had left since he had a knife in his back but soon I herd grunting in the bathroom.

I slowly started to walk over to my bathroom and I could hear Luke talking

"Argh, mother fucker" he hissed. I guess he was sorting out his wound.

I started to walk away when Luke opend the door. He looked piss. His face was twisted in pure anger, his hair a mess and sweat running down his exposed mussels. I began to back away but he grabbed hold of my and pushed me against the wall. I squeezed my eyes shut and felt tears begin to fall

"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT" he screamed at me. I just cowered into the wall, letting out soft crys

"I see how it is with you, think your so clever, well aurora" he ran one hand though his hair and gave an annoyed chuckle "you can't defeat me, stop trying, stop thinking you can win this battle, just give yourself to me, the one that got away" he said then grabbed hold of my jaw

"I'm going to make you wish you died that day along with all your friends, your life is nothing now, now how about we carry on what we started"
