Chapter [3] - Same Page

I headed back into the room and decided on some black shorts, a white tank and my all white AF1's. Although he be whipping my hair, it be mad hot both inside the shop and outside and I ain't trynna sweat my edges out the second I get them done. No siree. My shorts were tight but covered enough, exactly how I liked them. I rolled on some deodorant, slid into some black panties and a matching bra before lotioning and slapping on my silver Rolly. I decided on a small black stud diamond earring for my nose piercing and slowly slid it in before heading to the bathroom. I grabbed my brush and brushed my hair up into a huge curly bun before placing my earrings in.

I decided on some clear lipgloss and a little eyebrow gel and eyeliner for today. I didn't wanna go all out for my appointment cause I probably end up sweating it off anyways. I grabbed a white MK shoulder cross clutch to hold my phone, wallet, etc. I ran down the steps and headed to the garage. I chose a white Camry before hopping in and driving off to the salon.

Thirty minutes later I was already in Diego seat with my legs crossed and a hair gown on me. He started installing my weave while laughing with some of his co-workers. No lie, it's always lit in this salon, I swear it's never a dull moment. Like right now two female stylist started talking about how there ain't no more good men in the world. I could definitely testify to that.

"Preach," I commented receiving laughs from all the females. "Unt..Chanel don't let them pull you into this mess." Diego said, parting a section in my head. "Nah but it's true. You can be the most loyal female he ever dealt with and really ride for this motherfucker but if you not giving it up? Pfft, that shit don't matter. They still gon dog you," I said shaking my head.

"Ain't that the truth! My baby father had me so damn sprung, used to cook this nigga food, hold the house down, when he came home, laid it down in bed and he still went out his way to cheat on me. For another nigga," one lady spoke and I couldn't help but feel bad for her.

"Aight aight, yall gon have to back up off us. It ain't all of us, yall just be picking the wrong ones. Some niggas not ready to settle down, and you can't make em'," one of the other male workers said. I nodded, true true.

"But if you not ready to settle down, why the fuck would you get in a relationship? They act like females supposed to continuously take they bullshit while they out here fucking around and we all cooped up in the house playing the housewife. That's dumb dead. That ain't nowhere near healthy," I countered. I'm most definitely experienced in this field so you already know I was about to share my opinions cause that's so grimy to me but he find that shit okay.

"Maybe your head game weak," Diego said, shrugging. "Boy bye if I ain't giving no pussy, I'm damn sure not giving no head," I said rolling my eyes. "Well shit, that's why," he said sewing me in.

"That's sad how yall only think with yall dicks, real sad," the same lady said. "Welpppp, I'm glad I don't have yall problems. Fortunately for me, I know how to keep my nigga well satisfied," a girl around my age said walking over to our section. I looked her up and down and smacked my lips, "I bet you do," I quirked.

She did a quick double take before rolling her eyes and keeping her mouth closed. I know she just came back here but something about her I ain't like. Maybe it was because she butted in our conversation ruining the flow..might be.

I looked up into the mirror and seen while we was running our mouth, Diego was really going to work. He had the whole front and back done and was now giving me a bomb ass bang in the front. When it reached my liking, he slicked down my edges in waves before taking pictures of me to post on his business page on Instagram. I stood still and allowed him to snap pictures from every angle. I posed a little and bust out laughing when he started cheering me on, "Yess bitch!"
