Female Bakugou Katsuki (Katsumi in this oneshot)

-----------------------------------

Katsumi Bakugou was a girl with an attitude. She was known as the "Queen Bee" of Yuuei High School, feared by students and teachers alike. Her spiky blond hair flowed like lava down her back, contrasting sharply with her pale, almost translucent skin. Her ruby red eyes were cold and calculating, always assessing her surroundings. But beneath that tough exterior lay a soft spot for someone she barely knew: Izuku Midoriya.

She first noticed him on their first day at school when she saw him being bullied by some of the popular kids. Instinctively, she stepped in to defend him, putting an end to the altercation with a single, powerful punch. Since then, Katsumi had been drawn to him in a way she couldn't understand. She found herself constantly watching over him, making sure no one bothered him. And when they were alone, she couldn't help but feel a strange sense of comfort in his presence.

One day, after class, she finally mustered up the courage to approach him. "Hey, Midoriya," she said, her voice cold but not unfriendly. "I've been meaning to ask... would you ever want to hang out?"

Izuku looked up at her, his face flushing red with surprise and nervousness. "Uh, sure?" he stammered.

A smile slowly spread across Katsumi's face. "Great," she replied, clapping him on the shoulder. "We'll do something fun, just you and me."

As they walked through the school hallway, Izuku couldn't help but feel a sense of euphoria. He had always been alone, never really having any friends. But now, Katsumi was there for him. She was strong, confident, and seemed to genuinely care about him. He didn't know what had changed her mind about him, but he wasn't about to question it.

They stopped by a small cafe near the school where they ordered some coffee and pastries. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and for once, Izuku didn't feel like he was on the outside looking in. He took a sip of his coffee, savoring the warmth that spread through his body.

Katsumi watched him carefully, noticing how he seemed to relax in her presence. "So, Midoriya," she began, her voice softening. "Why do you think I've been sticking up for you all this time?"

Izuku looked up at her, taken aback by the question. "I don't know," he replied honestly. "I mean, you're the queen bee and all... you could have anyone you want as your lackeys."

Katsumi snorted. "Don't get me wrong, I could have, but it's like... you're different." She hesitated for a moment before continuing. "Maybe it's because you never gave up on your dream, even when everyone else wrote you off. Or maybe it's because you're just... you." She shrugged, her cheeks flushing slightly. "Either way, I want you to know that I'm here for you, Izuku."

Izuku felt a lump forming in his throat. No one had ever said anything like that to him before. He wanted to tell her how much it meant to him, but the words got stuck in his throat. Instead, he simply nodded and took another sip of his coffee.

They spent the rest of the afternoon talking about their dreams and aspirations. Katsumi revealed that she wanted to become a doctor, specifically a surgeon, so she could help people who were suffering. Izuku told her about his dream of becoming a hero, despite not having a quirk, and how he planned to achieve it.

As the afternoon turned into evening, they said their goodbyes outside the cafe. Katsumi walked Izuku to his house, not wanting him to walk alone in the dark. They strolled down the quiet, tree-lined streets, lost in their own thoughts. Finally, they stopped in front of Izuku's house, the warm glow from the living room window illuminating the front porch.

"Well," Katsumi said, her voice slightly awkward. "I should probably go. Thanks for coming with me."

"No, thank you," Izuku replied, feeling a sudden pang of sadness at the thought of her leaving. "I had a really good time today. Thank you for defending me and... for being my friend."
