The Forty-Fourth Chapter

It's been a week since the dinner, a week since I've legally left Rajvansh Company. Now, I have luckily already thought of what my next project is going to be. Well, it was Roohi's idea, because yes, my wifey is a genius.

We were nestled in the living room, tossing around ideas like a game of verbal game of ping pong, each suggestion sparking another. Then, my beautiful wife pitched another idea.

"We could start an NGO, focusing on mental health and supporting those struggling with self-harm and other related issues," she said, her eyes shining.

It was one of those moments where everything seemed to click into place. The idea felt right, like we were finally channeling our resources and influence toward something truly meaningful.

Not everyone is fortunate enough to have a supportive friend or partner like Roohi. I count myself lucky. In a way, this endeavor feels like closure for me too, a chance to turn past struggles into present strength by helping others in need.

And now, we are finally going on our honeymoon to Ludhiana, a place that holds Roohi's childhood memories. I'm excited, not just to explore the city, but to delve into her past and learn about her childhood with Nani Ji. Most of all, I'm thrilled because I've planned the perfect proposal.

"Yes, I'm going to pull off the best proposal ever," I thought to myself, feeling a surge of excitement.

So yeah, I'm super excited about that.

"Patidev! Listen, I'm not leaving my baby here, he is coming with us!" Roohi exclaimed, entering the room with Maggi, that little bitch, clutched in her arms.

"He is not coming to Punjab with us, Roohi. Also, it's our honeymoon," I spoke sternly, leaving no room for arguments. I wanted complete privacy for our trip.

"Rudraaa, please?" Roohi pleaded, her cute face adorned with pleading eyes.

"Roohiiii, Nooooo!" I insisted, taking Maggi out of her hands and placing him outside on the balcony, firmly closing the door behind him.
