तू बोल ना मुझे कुछ और मैं सुनती रहूँ
ऐसे प्यार करते करते दुनिया को छोड़ दूँ

My brain felt fuzzy, a hazy cloud settling over my thoughts. What does that even mean? I shook my head slightly, trying to clear the mental fog.

As I looked up, I saw Rudra strolling towards me. He was dressed in a very simple yet elegant beige kurta adorned with delicate mirror work.

A small smirk played on his lips, adding a charming touch to his demeanor. I couldn't help but notice how effortlessly handsome he looked. His dressing sense was commendable, and I had to give him that.

His aura Roo>>> Shut up consy!

A/N- Consy is an abbreviation for conscious, In this book Roohi's Consy will be very prominent.

Why are you so affected?' my cosy mocked me as I let out a sigh. There was something about the way he carried himself that left me both flustered and intrigued.

"Aajaiye beta, aap khud naam likh de," Maa said, prompting him to give her a grateful smile. Maa gracefully stood up from the swing, allowing him to take her place.

"Yeh lijiye," Maa said, handing him the mehndi cone. He thanked her, his attention now back on me.

As Rudra took the mehndi cone, he looked into my eyes with a dark glint and whispered, "Ab humare naam ka rang bhi aap ke hathon mein sajega." Sending a gentle shiver down my spine.

Am I being a bit silly for saying yes to this marriage? Perhaps. But is there a single thing about it that I regret? Absolutely not.

His gaze remained focused as he began to inscribe his name on my hands with a level of care that spoke volumes.

As he traced the intricate patterns, he leaned in, his voice soft and intimate, "Yeh mehndi sirf naam nahi, humare rishte ka bhi rang hai." My heart skipped a beat at his words. Am I living in a delusion?

Why does it all feel so surreal, especially the way he looks at me? It's like there's this unspoken language between our glances, and it leaves me wondering if he's already fallen for me. The way everything is happening, it's confusing, it's surreal.

"Now, how will Roohi write her name on your hands? Her hands are completely covered in mehndi!" Maa exclaimed suddenly, a realization dawning on her.

Rudra's eyes momentarily dropped, reflecting a subtle contemplation, before he nodded in agreement. "It's fine; you can write her name across my palm," he said, a calm assurance in his voice.
