As I lounged on the couch, crunching on a handful of chips, I couldn't help but let the lyrics escape my lips. "My heart's a stereo..."
"It beats for you, so listen close.." Rudra's voice joined mine, his tone warm and comforting. I glanced over at him, chuckling as I noticed his geeky reading glasses perched on his nose. It was a rare sight, but when he wore them, something about him seemed even more irresistible.
So hot. So cute. So nerdy.
"Hear my thoughts in every no-oote," I crooned, shooting Rudra a playful grin as he set his book aside to join my little concert.
"Make me your radio... and turn me up when you feel low," he sang back with a smirk.
We were cozied up in our theater room, me with my tunes and Rudra with his reading. He was determined to finish 'The Pearl That Broke Its Shell' by Nadia Hashimi.
It felt familiar and comforting, very domestic, like we were exactly where we were supposed to be.
In between songs, I'd catch Rudra's eye, and we'd share a smile that said more than words ever could. It was simple and sweet, just us enjoying each other's company in our own little world.
Things at the house have been uhm chaotic, to say the least.
To summarize, Meera bhabhi-sa is pregnant. Literally. Yeah, that was chaotic, mostly because of my dear husband freaking out.
