Mina's pov,

Today is Aahan bhai's party, usually I don't attend any functions when my exams are up but there is no excuse for family. These days I hardly interact with Kabir, I studied all the time and he doesn't disturb me either. Though he always checks on me, But I maintain the distance because I don't want any distraction in my studies. If you know you know how much study is important to me. Hope he understands it! Talking about him I feel like something is bothering him, I thought he would live his life freely like me but no. Out of shell he looks happy but I wanna peek inside the shell which is hard because he really don't talk about his feelings. He keeps everything in shell, buried inside him. Once my exams are done I will focus just on him.
  I'm attending today's party with him, Aahan bhai invited only few outsiders like family and some business partners. The dress code is black and because it is officce party I decided to wear western dress. it is beutiful dress, it reach till my knees. It was the only black dress I had in my wardrobe and because my exam are up I didn't got chance to buy new one.

I was doing my makeup while talking to myself in mind. Suddenly the door opened, I turned my face and looked at the visitor.

Mina: oh, it's you!

I said when I saw Kabir, he didn't reply just kept looking at me from head to toe.

Why he is looking like that? Is my dress is too short?

Mina: why are you looking at me like that? Did you not like the dress?

Finally he looked at me in my eyes, he made his way towards me. I stood there quietly, even if he doesn't like the dress I don't have any other option to wear. He slightly touched my both forearms and scanned me up-down.

Kabir: you are looking fabulous!

He said with sweetest voice and smile, it feel very good to listen him. I'm a talkative person but I just want to listen to him.

Kabir: your beauty always surprises me.

I shyly look down, he thinks I'm beautiful. Butterflies started dancing in my stomach while red crimson crept on my cheeks.

Kabir: always keep that smile, I missed it.

I looked at him, I didn't even realise I was smiling like an idiot. He kissed my forehead, I grinned. He move back, he smiled and walked inside the washroom. Finally we are having interaction, I missed it but I have to maintain distance. Today is cheat day, I smiled happily and continued my makeup. When I was done I sat on bed waiting for him, today is cheat day so I can do whatever I want. But the problem is our relationship, our relationship is not like other couples so what advantage I can take of this day. I was in deep thought when washroom door opened, my gaze move towards him. I gulped, wet honey hair paired with black suit. Even after marrying him I never noticed his handsomeness.
