I was working on my laptop, I was in our room when suddenly someone knocked. I got pretty familiar with his family, they are loving but have strict discipline but I'm ok with it. Before I could say 'come in' someone barged in, Anuj grabbed his arm pulling him backward.
Anuj: sorry!
I just got up from bed and stood straight confused, then a woman entered younger than me I guess.
Aahan: sorry to interrupt you but I want to meet you, hope you're not busy.
He said playfully, if Anuj is bringing him then he must be a good person, I assure myself.
Divya: no,no!
I looked at Anuj, I was getting kinda nervous.
Anuj: he is my best friend Aahan and she is his wife Radhika.
That woman rolled her eyes, I again looked at Anuj.
Anuj: oh, they both fight like siblings.
It's strange, we just got married but still Anuj is able to understand everything. I smiled a little but the guy named Aahan made a poker face.
Aahan: Anuj mind your tongue, she is my wife not sister.
It made me smile genuinely.
Anuj: yeah, yeah!
They have pretty good bond, I was smiling when my eyes fell on Anuj. Who was staring at me very admiringly, I looked away.
Aahan: don't you remember us? We got married together.
Divya: I remember but I didn't recognise you both, sorry.
Radhika: it's ok, I'm Radhika!
She said while looking at Aahan and extended her hand. It confuses me but I shook the hand, why she looked at Aahan while introducing herself.
Divya: Divya!
Radhika: we are relatives but still meeting for the first time today.
Divya: yeah!
Radhika: now we are neighbours and pretty close neighbour.....
She looked at Anuj & Aahan, she is very friendly btw.
Radhika: so we will meet often.
Divya: I guess yes!
I replied as our husbands are best friends and neighbours too, so we will meet often now.
Aahan: it was my idea to come here so move aside angry bird.
I was a little shocked by him but Radhika shocked me more.
Radhika: sure archaeopteryx!
I couldn't control my smile, they don't get along and fight a lot but they are cute.
Aahan: what did you call me?
He said angrily, but Radhika stood with her ground.
Radhika: what did you hear?
She replied with the same attitude.
Aahan: you're talking too much shortie!
He made a pissed off face and looked away, now she was fuming in anger.
Radhika: idiot I'm 5'2!
Aahan: still shorter than me!
Radhika: I'm not shorter than you, you are taller than me.
Very true! Aahan and Anuj are way too tall. Anuj's legs are just like long bamboo sticks.
Aahan: same thing babe!
