"Ang sarap na ng simoy ng hangin matapos—-."

"Oo nga. Ayoko na nga balikan."

"Why? You're the strongest member of our platoon we have known."

"I'm really not interested now." I said while speaking to Kiara. I'm done with being a Platoon.

Andito kami ngayon sa bahay ni Clifford, sa training center niya kung saan kami laging nag eensayo dati, pero ngayon, wala na ang mga kagamitan para sa combat. The room is now field with gym and sport equipment, with LED modern lights similar to what you see on party bars. Colors are really suiting on the eyes.

Everything really went on its normal state.

"Ano bang nangyari sa inyo ni Hub?" tanong ni Clifford while a serving a wine.

We three made a night out. I feel that it's time for me to accommodate and have fun with friends. Since, they're the only people I have left, and they made the journey bearable when we're still fighting on the Arena.

Our bond are getting stronger and tighter after everything.

"He just didn't recognize me at all." I said.

"You made him a human being and that's the consequence." Kiara wondered.

"Yes?"

"Too clever right?" Kiara uttered, and sipped her glass of wine.

She's right. Zaco's too clever to make me suffer like this.

"Actually, I didn't invite him."

"Invite what?"

"He wanted to come."

"Hub wants to join." dagdag ni Clifford.

"No way." sabi ko.

"Interesting. I know no one asks, but I'm in. Let him join." Kiara said, raising both her hands. He just wanted to see me be humiliated or feel uncomfortable. I know her.

"Please. I don't want to see him."

It's been a crazy five days after seeing him recover but the fire and hatred were empowered by my care for him. I still can't accept the fact that he yelled at me, after what I've been through. I didn't deserve that treatment.

"Maybe it's time Sivan. Just try it." Kiara offered.

"Hindi ko alam pero papunta na daw siya." sabi ni Clifford habang binabasa ang text na natanggap.

"Is he alone?"

"Yes."

Buti naman at mag-isa siya. Makakaya ko pang makita siya.

"Akala mo kasama niya girlfriend niya 'no?"

"Whatever." I said, rolling my eyes to Kiara. She's occupying my mind again and I hated it.

I promise myself to take care of him after his recovery but, as much as I wanted to. It seems like he's in a better place, with a family, a girlfriend, and a lot of friends. I guess my work is done for him and little by little, I'm accepting the fact that we'll never be the same as before.

Every night, I dreamt of him. It sucks.

I miss him yet the only thing I can do is to hide and ignore him.

"Parating na daw siya." sabi ni Clifford. Napa-shot ako ng dalawang beses marahil sa kaba na nadarama. This is will be first time I'll seeing him after those days.

Ilang minuto lang ay sumenyas si Clifford na lalabas, susunduin si Hub para makapunta dito.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm not."

"Relax Sivan. Maybe he's here for a reconciliation."

"That's what you read?"

"I'm not reading minds anymore."

"What? You actually just did it to me."

"Not really. Syempre matagal na kitang kaibigan. It's the instinct and gesture of yours I'm guessing."

"You don't have the power anymore?"

"Hindi na tayo nakaka-ensayo and my power just went vacant."

"Same."

"Maybe because there's no threat anymore in this universe. That's why."

"Couldn't agree more." I said to Kiara. So she's not invading what's in my head anymore. Our powers went back to zero. I was really hoping if she could read Hub's mind, just in case.

I'm still curious and anxious.

We heard a footstep coming through and my heart is pounding heavily.

"Hi." bati ni Hub sa akin ng makalapit sabay lahat ng palad niya. Hindi ko nalang siya pinansin at nag-shot ulit ng wine.

"Hmm. Okay." sabi niya at binawi nalang din. Clifford offers a seat for him and he faces me.

This is getting weird. I couldn't make an eye contact.

"Kumusta Hub? I'm happy to see you." Kiara said and kisses Hub on his cheeks.

So they know each other.

"Ano bang nangyari sa iyo kasi." dagdag ni Kiara.

"T'was actually my fault. I interfere."

"Interfere from?"

"I actually save you." sagot ni Hub kay Kiara, sabay tingin sakin. Naiilang man ay tiningnan din siya ulit. Kita sa mukha ko ang pagkabigla sa narinig.

"You save Sivan?" ulit ni Clifford.

"Why'd you do that?" nauutal kong tanong. Hindi na niya nasagot pa ng biglang nagring phone niya. He immediately picked and answered the call.

"Yes Babe. I'm here at Clifford's place. Nagkaayaan lang."

"I'll be there after this."

"I love you." and he ended the call.

Mga boses na narinig ko mismo sa mga labi niya na nagpadurog muli sakin. He's calling her girlfriend and his last words troubled me.

I'm getting out of here.
