(Chapter 10)/A Human's Awakening

Ruby's POV:
July 1st, 2092, 08:00:
Armistice Base, State of Amazonas:

*Beep...Beep...Beep*

Ow, what happened? My head feels...ok surprisingly. Slowly opening my eyes, I see the roof of a medical room, before looking right and seeing a tan wall. Slowly regaining my senses, I look left and see Zero on a hospital bed. What's he doing here, did he get hurt? Then, it occurred to me that I was also on a hospital bed, outside my armor and normal clothing. I then yawned before rubbing my eyes with my right hand, afterwards, a familiar voice said,

Dr. Lesley: "Hey, your finally awake."

Looking in front of me, I saw Dr. Lesley by a desk with over-hanging drawers, apparently writing something on the computer. I sat up, letting the blanket fall from my chest and asked, 

Ruby: "What happened?"

Dr. Lesley: "From what I understand, you were attacked by a Reaper? I believe."

Wait, a Reaper?! I then grabbed my throat out of fear of whatever knocked me out could've infected me. Then, a voice of the only other one in the room said,

Zero: "It's alright, I already check for cuts and scratches."

I looked over at Zero and saw he was smiling, only to see his face turn to one of slight surprise. His cheeks then redden slightly just as he turned away, placing his right hand over his face. Was there something wrong? I decided to ask him,

Ruby: "Is everything alright?"

Zero: "Your, ah, your chest is exposed."

I raised my eyebrow as I looked down and saw that my breasts were indeed exposed. I didn't see what the problem was, do humans not like breasts? Dr. Lesley then asked him, 

Dr. Lesley: "Do you have a problem with how I treat my patients?"

Zero: "Well, maybe a little privacy for what's under our pants or shirt would be great."

Dr. Lesley: "I gave you enough privacy by not doing the penile tests."

Zero: "I don't even want to know what happens with that."

Ruby(confused): "Are they bad?"

Zero(flabbergasted): "What? No, they're-ah, do Anthro's even talk about the birds and the bees?"

I looked at Dr. Lesley confused, only to see she also didn't have any idea of what he was talking about. After some time in silence, Zero said,

Zero: "My god, you don't even know what I'm talking about."

Ruby: "No, you completely lost me."

Dr. Lesley: "Same here."

Zero: "Alright, listen, I don't exactly want to talk about it now, maybe later, but right now, I can't with the environment."

He then started looking around for something while still covering his face with his hand. Eventually, Dr. Lesley walked over to him with some cloths and gave it to him, which he started to put on under the covers. Eventually, he stood up on the far side of his bed with a white t-shirt, black cargo pants, and some socks. He then started walking over to the door while averting his eyes from looking down. Before opening the door, he stopped before turning back to me, seemingly making an effort to keep his eyes on mine as he said, 

Zero: "We'll talk later, ok?"

Ruby(nods): "Oh, yeah sure."

He then turned back to the door and opened it, but before he walked out, he asked,
