(Chapter 2)/ It's a lovely day for an interrogation

Mariana's POV:
June 8th, 2092, 17:30
Over the Gulf of Mexico

Chloe: "Mariana, wake up."

Mariana: "Hmmm, what?"

Waking up from sleeping, I see I'm still in the pelican with the rest of Alpha Team, and looking to my right, I see the human bending forward on his seat, his cuffs keeping him from falling. I pull the human back to his back to the seat as I looked back at Chloe and asked,

Mariana: "How long was I out?"

Chloe: "Two Thirty, we're almost at the base, just another half hour left."

I nodded as she went back to waking everyone up. It took around ten minutes before we all were awake and alert. The silence filling the pelican didn't last as Rena started saying,

Rena: "So, what are we even doing with this no-fur in the first place?"

Chloe: "The Colonel wants to interrogate him."

Rena: "...And?"

Chloe: "That's it."

Via: "Your kidding, we went through all that trouble just for an interrogation?"

Chloe: "Those were our orders, now we follow them."

Douglas: "Maybe she wouldn't mind if we had our own interrogation with him."

Rena: "I agree, it's the least we could do for that bastard shooting us."

Chloe: "No, we may have been caught unaware, but that doesn't give us the right to-"

Rena and Via got up and Walk towards Chloe, causing her to stand up to, looking down at them."

Ruby: "Ladies, please, let's just take a breather and calm down."

Rena: "Fuck that, we will interrogate him whether you like it or not."

Chloe: "Stand down, that's an order."

Via: "Make us(growls)."

Everyone in the pelican stood quiet as this face off was happening. Why are we arguing over this, Helena will probably use us for the interrogation, there's no ne-

Zero: "My God, kiss already."

I look at the human and see he's sitting unimpressed on his seat, disappointment plastered on his face. Chloe pushed passed Rena and Via and said,

Chloe: "You're awake."

Zero: "Been for the past three hours, and let me say this on record, you gotta work on your command structure."

Rena(walking towards him): "I'll show yo-"

Chloe(gets in Rena's way): "Stand down."

Rena: "Yeah? Ma-"

She's cut off as Chloe stands directly in front of her, looking down as she says with menace,

Chloe: "Stand. Down."

Rena's ears flap down as she looks at Chloe where her eyes would be. She then nodded her head as she sat back down, Via following after Chloe takes one look at her. Douglas and Ruby look away, while I shake slightly. She's always scary when she gets like this, and it's terrifying.

Zero: "I take back my earlier statement."

Chloe looks at the human and walks towards him, stopping a few feet from him as she asks,

Chloe: "Are you Spartan Ray's killer?"

Zero: "Spartan Ray? Is he that red fox guy?"

Douglas looked up while closing a fist, and while we all, except the human, were wearing our helmet's, I could tell Douglas had a upset face just from his stance alone.
