Recommended song: There Goes My Baby By Usher

The bright sunlight streaming in from the large window easily pulled me from my sleep.

And automatically, I could tell that I wasn't in my Paris hotel room.

I mean, I was definitely still in Paris—which was clear by the perfect view of the Eiffel Tower held by the large window.

A yawn fell from my lips, raising my head up from what I later realized was Noa's stomach—causing her to stir from her sleep as well.

And I couldn't help but smile up at her, recalling all the events from yesterday—mostly just the proposal and grasping the fact that I was actually engaged.

Past me would've definitely had a heart attack if she knew what the future held.

"Good morning," Noa murmured, staring down at me as she brushed the stray hairs from my face.

I felt my smile grow, "Good morning," I whispered back.

Noa shook her head to herself, smiling slightly as she said, "You're my fiancée."

And it was clear that she was processing yesterday just like me.

"And you're mine," I said, leaning into her touch, but my brows easily furrowed when I felt something cold against my skin.

I grabbed her hand, and almost as soon as I saw the perfect banded ring on her finger—a grin grew on my lips.

"I forgot about that," I mainly whispered to myself as I recalled the drunken memories.

Noa chuckled to herself, "What? You demanding to go to a jewelry shop that I had to call the owner to open? Or you insisting you weren't drunk as you tried to convince me to touch you in the bath I ran you?" she questioned rhetorically.

My eyes widened on their own accord, processing so many things within her statement.

Even if Noa knew so many sides to me—and had seen every single inch of my body, I felt oddly embarrassed.

Noa shook her head to herself, still smiling as she said, "And then when I didn't touch you—you proceeded to run around the house, soaking wet and naked."

An embarrassed groan fell from my lips, hiding my warm face in my hands as Noa laughed to herself.

"That's so embarrassing," I breathed out, completely surprised that I did such a thing.

Then again, drunk me definitely has a mind of her own.

Noa gently guided my hands away from my face, "I don't know... you running around the house naked dripping soapy bubbles was a better view than the Eiffel Tower itself," she teased, easily making my face burn a brighter red.

"Noa," I whined out, feeling entirely embarrassed as I tried to cover my face again, but Noa only held my hands away from my face.

And while I was trying to push my embarrassment away, I couldn't help but grasp the fact that she said house—which easily cleared up why I didn't recognize where I was upon waking up.
