Giggles fill my room as I tickle my baby, a gummy smile spreading as he kicks his feet in the air.
"Who's mommy's favorite?" I coo at him, he blows bubbles with his lips.
"Say dada" Trey interjects standing above us. Zan's eyes immediately light up at the sight of his father.
"Aa" he coos in response, my mouth opens in shock.

"If you eva feel you bad come here come say Dada before you say mama!" I gently pinch his chubby legs.
"Tell mama say you love dada more" Trey says placing a kiss on his cheek. In return Zan grabs his face.
"Aaadaa" he coos loudly, "Him ago talk early" I say feeling like a proud mom.
Trey doesn't believe me that I heard him say ma the other day but I know I heard it! He just refuses to say it again because he wants me to seem crazy.
"And we need fi be early, Kelise and Teyanna ago kill me if we late cause them swear a me a keep you up like anuh you liddung up here from ih time wid Zan a laugh" he says leaning up, I roll my eyes at him.
"You Pitney did deh fight me, he doesn't want to wear his pants, so you affi put it on babe" I throw it to him.
He catches it, "Come we show mommy how we roll" he starts.
I watch in amazement at how Zan lays still allowing his father to dress him, "That nuh fair, so a me you nuh like?" I ask Taizan as his dad pushes a pacifier into his mouth picking him up.
"Come on nuh wifey a time fi go, me put the baby bag inna the car already and it cool" he tells me turning off the bedroom light following closely behind my husband.

About exactly two months ago we decided we didn't want to wait any longer and had a beautiful courthouse wedding with just ourselves.
