~2 months later~

"Alright, that was a good shot! Good job, princess." I praised as I stepped from behind her and took the gun from her hand.

She smiled at me before I turned around and put the gun back. Valentino had removed the dummy that Ellie had shot and put it back with all the others, closing the door right after.

We had been teaching Ellie how to use certain weapons and fighting techniques for almost a month and a half without Lorenzo knowing. She was hesitant to try it at first but eventually she gave in and allowed us to teach her. We found out that if we just praised her enough, she won't be as scared about it and she'll actually be more excited to try it again.

Over the past few weeks, our bonds had gotten so much stronger. I had never experienced half of the things we did the few weeks we are all together, it was different then any other hangout we've ever had. Lorenzo was starting to talk with Ellie more about completely unrelated things, he enjoyed putting a smile on her face. I helped her out with her confidence in herself and Valentino helped her out with her health.

As we did all of this for her, the only thing we wanted to get in return was her happiness and she provided. She was more happy once we took her mind off of everything, it didn't matter what we did to distract her it just always worked.

I had gotten a notification from my phone and I could tell from the vibration. I took out my phone and checked it out, seeing as it was a message from my father. We had recently just gotten in contact with each other and we wanted to catch up in person.

"Do you mind driving Ellie home now, Valentino?" I asked as I turned to him.

"Yeah, sure." he said before turning to Ellie, "Go say goodbye to Owen, he'll be back by tonight."

Ellie nodded her head and looked over to me, quickly running over to my open arms and hugging me. I hugged her back and she pecked my lips with hers before we let go of each other and I sent her off with Valentino.

"Please stay safe!" she slightly shouted so I could hear, grabbing on to Valentino's hand.

"I promise I'll be safe, beautiful." I slightly shouted back.

They both looked back and gave me a tiny wave before leaving the warehouse. I looked around and cleaned everything up that was left before I had also left the warehouse. Valentino's car was gone and mine was still there. I took out my keys and unlocked the door, jumping inside before I took out my phone again.

I had ignored Lorenzo's calls while we were training with Ellie and thought it would be best to call him back now so hopefully he wouldn't ask me any questions.

I let the phone ring a few times before he answered, "You son of a bitch."

"Hello to you too, I'm doing fantastic! How about yourself, Lorenzo?" I said sarcastically with a chuckle.

"I was trying to call you to tell you that I got home like you wanted me to do, do you need something now?" he asked, anger in his voice.

"No but it sounds like you do, maybe you should ask Valentino to take Ellie to yours place instead." I joked, but as I let it sink in it really didn't sound like a bad idea.
