~1 week later~

Things has started to run very smoothly these past few days. Lorenzo had still never caught Mark's phone number in my phone, Owen had been opening up about himself some more, and Valentino had been taking a break with his work and focused on his health a bit more which I was happy to see him do.

I was able to have him drive me back to the store a few days ago to deliver the news to Martin who couldn't have been more happier to hear that he got his first gig. He hugged me and wouldn't stop thanking me, I had never seen him so happy during the duration of our friendship.

I also got to meet up with Mark. He didn't beg me for my forgiveness as he knew I still didn't forgive him, but I did still hand him the money to pay off the debt for his mother and some extra money for their rent, food, and clothes. I know what he did was bad but I didn't have the heart to just leave him and his mother like that.

Now; I had been standing in this closet for the past 20 minutes just to figure out what dress to wear to the ball tonight. I had never been to an actual ball before, I thought those only happened in Disney princess movies. I would usually never take this long to get dressed but because it was my first time going to one of these, I wanted to make sure I looked nice.

Slowly I was starting to build up some confidence in my body. The praise I had received from my guys made me feel so much more better about myself, they would never let me leave their side until I wasn't shaming my body anymore and they could tell when I lied so I tried not to lie at all.

Running my fingers through the dresses again, I heard a knock on my door. I quickly walked out the closet and opened the bedroom door to see Owen standing there.

"Hi, Owen." I greeted him with a soft smile.

"Hi, baby. How's the outfit choice coming along?" he asked.

"It's.. going."

He paused, looking me up and down, "You still don't know what you want to wear, do you?"

My eyes dropped to the floor and I shook my head to answer his question in defeat. He let out a chuckle, "Do you want me to help you yet?"

"Y-Yes please." I whispered.

I stepped out of the way and allowed him inside. We both walked back over to my closet and Owen took a look around the dress section of it while I stayed on the outside and waited.

I was told already that I had to wear a dress for the ball which was okay with me, I hadn't worn a super fancy dress before and I was actually excited about it. The only thing I wasn't excited about was knowing how many people were going to be there. I was never good when it came to crowds but now that I had my guys with me plus my best friend, I think I was going to be okay.

"I think this one would look absolutely perfect on you..." Owen said with a smile as he took the dress off one of the racks.

Owen had walked out of the closet holding the dress in his hand, "How do you feel about this one?"
