Jimin and Jungkook met even earlier than they had planned the next day. Jungkook, who had left the coffee shop with Jimin's number, texted him good morning at 5:30am. Jimin texted back immediately, saying the same, ending the message with an adorable ':).'

They chatted for less than five minutes before Jimin just asked if they wanted to meet right then. Of course Jungkook wanted to! He was smitten, and...he kind of thought Jimin might be too. All he knew is that he already loved being around Jimin.

He got ready extremely quickly after texting Jimin the address of his parents' hotel. Since he became an adult, he began renting out a suite that he converted into a studio apartment from his parents. Jungkook recognized that having his parents do that for him helped him out a ton. He'll always be grateful for their support.

When he's ready, he walks down to the lobby. He waves at the woman at the front desk, sweet old lady. She waves back a large smile on her face. Then he waits.

In less than five minutes, Jimin walks through the automatic sliding glass doors, into the small lobby that hasn't been renovated since the 1990s. They make eye-contact, and Jimin dashes towards him, wrapping him into a hug. Surprised, Jungkook hugs back, before letting go politely.

"What...was that?" A smile melts on his face.

"An American-style greeting," His eyes are playful. "I personally thought it was appropriate."

"Do you..." Jungkook clears his throat, face pink. "Do you often give people American-style greetings?"

"No," He shakes his head. "I just really wanted to hug you."

Jungkook is elated. "So are all your worries gone, then? It only took one meeting?"

"Yeah, actually," Jimin nods. "I really like you as a person. It's hard not to."

"Well that makes me really happy," Jungkook tells him. "Are you ready to go?"

"Absolutely! I'm so excited," They begin walking. "Why did we meet here though? I'm just curious...you live on Jeju, don't you?"

"Yeah," He confirms. "But I live here. My parents own the hotel, so when I became an adult, they helped me turn a suite into an apartment. I appreciate the help, but I do want to live on my own someday."

"Ah," The two walk close as they make their way down the road. "I still live with my parents, so you're better off than me."

"It's not like living with parents is a bad thing," The taller defends. "If anything it's smart, so you can save money, and all that. I just wanted my own space, that's all. I'd love to buy a house someday if I could, but for now that's just a dream."

"A good dream to have," Jimin shrugs. "I don't really know what I want in life right now, I have no ambition...it's a pretty lame life to live. I just...exist."

"Well...you're good at existing," Jungkook compliments, making Jimin laugh. "You really caught my attention. And hopefully, now that we've met, things won't be so boring. I hope we'll still talk once your trip is over."

"Of course!" He says right away. "I don't at all see why we wouldn't. I met a man who very well could be my soulmate...how could I just pretend you didn't exist once I'm back in Busan?"

"I don't know," He huffs out a laugh. "I get nervous around you because I really like you. My feelings make me insecure."

"Aw, no," Jimin coos. "Don't be. Not anymore. I don't have any doubts over the fact that I want to see where this goes."

"Good," Jungkook smiles. "Me too."

He was so excited for today. He was going to show Jimin everything. All the places he loved, all his secret spots on the island. All he wanted to do was spend time with Jimin. He just couldn't wait.
