Chapter 90

Bongbong's POV

It already 2:00 P.M. I was having a meeting with the board members when suddenly my phone rang. Napatingin sila sa akin.

Bongbong: Continue *Serious voice*

Binaling ulit nila ang tingin sa harap. I looked at who was calling, It's Franscheska pala.

I turned off my phone then binaling din ang tingin sa nagsasalita sa harap.

After the meeting,  bumalik na ako sa office ko. I turned on my phone then nagulat ako ng makitang andaming misscall from Francheska. My forehead furrowed. Suddenly my phone rang again so I answered.

Bongbong: What...

Francheska: Hay Bong salamat sinagot mo na, kanina pa kita tinatawagan. Si Pearl nanganak na *Worried*

Bongbong: What!!!??? *Stood up*

Francheska: Oo, kaya pumunta kana dito sa hospital bilisan mo.

Bongbong: What hospital?

Francheska: St. Luke's Medical Center.

Bongbong: Okay okay, I'm on my way na *In a hurry*

I turned off the call then I hurried out, nakasalubong ko pa si Aimee.

Aimee: Oh why are you in a hurry kuya?

Bongbong: Pearl has given birth, if you want to come, just come.

Hindi ko na siya hinintay magsalita. Dumeretso na ako sa elevator, agad na din na nakasunod si Aimee. Nang makalabas kami dumeretso na kami sa parking lot at pinaandar ang sasakyan papunta sa Hospital.

Pagkadating namin sa hospital, agad naming hinanap si Francheska and we saw her in front of the delivery room.

Bongbong: Cheska

We approach her, tumayo naman siya

Bongbong: What happened? Why did she give birth so early?

Francheska: Bong, s-sorry hindi ko sinasadya, sorry. *Worried*

Bongbong: What really happened?

Francheska: N-nagkasagutan kami t-tapos yun, b-biglang sumakit tiyan niya. Tapos yun na, nagdecide ng ilabas na yung baby kasi lalo daw magkakaroon ng kumplikasyon pag di pa nilabas.

Bongbong: What!!??? Shit.....Fran----------

Aimee: Kuya, that's enough, let's first think about the safety of Pearl and the baby.

Naupo ako tsaka napahilamos sa mukha. Even though I'm not sure that I'm the child's father, I can't help but worry.

Aimee: Tatawagan ko lang sina ate

Lumayo naman siya.

Ilang minuto pa ang lumipas, inilabas na mula sa delivery room si Pearl at ang baby. Dahil nakulangan sa buwan si baby, kinailangan siyang ipasok sa N.I.C.U.. Pagkatapos maidala si baby sa doon, dinala na din sa isang room si Pearl, walang malay ito.

I went to where the baby was taken. I found out the baby is a girl. I just watch her. Nagulat naman ako ng may tumawag sa akin mula sa di kalayuan. Lumingon ako nakita ko sina Ate Imee, Irene at Aimee.

Imee: Bong

Bongbong: Ate

They approached me and they looked at the baby.

Imee: What happened? Why did she give birth prematurely?

Bongbong: Nagkasagutan daw silang magkapatid before that then she suddenly had a stomach ache. That's why she gave birth at the wrong time.

Imee: What!!!?? Oh god...

Irene:What is the gender of the baby?

Bongbong: A girl

Imee, Irene & Aimee: Oh my!!!!!!

Nagtitili naman silang tatlo.

Bongbong: Hey mga bunganga niyo, bawal yan dito. *Serious voice*

They stopped, they also noticed that I was serious.

Imee: Why don't you seem happy, you should be happy because you have a daughter na.

Bongbong: Ella is the only daughter I accept.

Imee: Ella? You mean Sara's daughter?

I looked at her.

Bongbong: What do you mean?

Imee: Una namin siyang nakita sa mall. Naihiwalay siya kay Sara at sa kapatid niya. Pagkakita ko palang sa kaniya, may iba na akong naramdaman. Kahit hindi sabihin ni Sara, makikita mo sa mukha ni Ella, sobrang hawig ka niya Bong.

Bongbong: But she keeps denying that we don't have children.

Aimee: You have to find a way kuya. *Look at the glass window*

The four of us just looked at each other and gasped. I faced the glass window. I thought and I came up with an idea. The only way I could think of was...

"I need to know the truth, using a DNA test."
