Chapter 08

Bongbong's POV

Liza and I woke up early today because we were going to visit the orphanage. Because every Saturday we visit there. After we ate breakfast we left the house. While we were on our way to the orphanage, Liza and I talked.

Bongbong: After we visit there, where do we go next?

Liza: Tagaytay *Smiled*

Bongbong: You really like Tagaytay ha

Liza: of course

Bongbong: All right, let's just have lunch there later.

1 hour later we reached the orphanage. When we entered, the children greeted us happily, followed by the nuns.

Sister Minchin: Buti dumating na po kayo Maam Sir, kanina pa po kayo hinihintay ng mga bata. *He said softly*

Liza: Pasensiya na po sister medyo natraffic lang po kami.

Sister Minchin: Sige po pasok na tayo.

Then we entered. We went straight to the babies room, while we looked at the babies.

Liza: Hon, look at how cute she is *While looking at the baby girl*

Bongbong: Yes he is cute

We were surprised when Liza carry up the baby girl who was only 5 months old. I couldn’t figure out why their parents needed to leave their child in the orphanage.I looked at the babies around. If they are not ready to have children, they can be controlled because these babies will be miserable and they will grow up without parents. Some babies here are just left at the gate of the orphanage. I just stopped in my tracks when Liza spoke.

Liza: Hon, are you ok?

Bongbong: Ha? Yeah I'm ok, I'll just go outside, I'll just go around here, take care of that, Ok?

Liza: Ok, see you later.

I left the room. I thought about going to sick kids. While I was on my way, I remembered liza earlier when she saw the baby girl she was so happy. We always prayed that we would have a daughter. Then I arrived at the sick children’s room.

Kids: Tito bong!!! *Greeted happily*

Bongbong: Hello Kids *Greeted happily too*

Then I approached a boy, he was the one why I came here to this room. His name is Luke. Luke's disease is Cancer, it is said that he inherited it from his family but unfortunately no one knows who his parents are. He was just a baby when he was left outside the gate and when the nuns took him, his parents left a letter, what was said there were wills, his illness, birthday and name were already there. He is 10 years old now.

Luke: Hi po Tito Bong

Bongbong: Hello, Kamusta kana?

Luke: Ok lang naman po Tito Bong, nasaan po si Atty. Liza?

Bongbong: Ah nasa babies room siya, alam mo naman si Attorney pagpumupunta kami dito deretso na siya sa babies room.

Luke: *Slightly Laugh*

Bongbong: Siya nga pala maalala ko, malapit na ang kaarawan mo, anong gusto mong regalo?

Luke: Kahit wag na po, nakakahiya naman po.

Bongbong: Luke, gusto lang namin na maging masaya ka.

Luke: Masaya naman na po ako dito eh.

Bongbong: Ah basta reregaluhan ka namin ni Attorney ok?

Luke: S-sige po, Salamat po.

Bongbong: Walang anuman Luke.

We talked a lot, I looked at my watch and it was 10 A.M

Bongbong: Sige na Luke, kita-kita nalang tayo ulit sa sunod na sabado. *Stand up*

Luke: Sige po, salamat po sa oras.

Bongbong: Wala yun Luke *Smiled*

I said goodbye to him and the other kids. I'm back where I left Liza earlier.

Liza: You're here na pala hon

Bongbong: Yeah, let's go na hon?

Liza: Ahmm yeah, bye baby celestine, see you again on saturday *Kissed on the forehead*

Then we left. It took us 2 hours na bumiyahe papuntang Tagaytay but it was ok. We went straight to the Restaurant and ate, after we had lunch we went for a walk first and it took us 4 hours. While we were on our way home.

Liza: Thank you for this day hon.

Bongbong: You're welcome hon, just for you I will do hon. *He kissed the back of her hand*

When we got home we rested for a while. After we rested, we also ate dinner. Then we did the night routine and went to bed then sleep.
