Charlis POV:
I am so grateful to Chase for not telling the police. That would have ruined everything. It's been 2 weeks since that day he threatened too.

Being friends with him is weird because we both know we aren't really friends. I do feel bad for telling him that, I just needed to know he wouldn't tell the police anything.

So yeah, we pretend to be friends but we really aren't.
Bentley was mad that I still hang out with him but I have no other choice. If I just ghost him he might tell the police.

Right now everything is going great.

I got out of my bed and start getting ready for school.
I went downstairs to have breakfast and bill was there.

Well every thing is going great except him. I haven't gone to bed in a month. I usually end up falling asleep in class and one time I accidentally fell asleep on the bleachers outside the school and I stayed there the whole night.

It was better then staying at home to be honest.

That was the last time I got a full night of sleep, other then that I'm up all night every night.

I basically fall asleep in every class, every day and I hate it because my grades are going down because of it.

I grabbed the cereal from the cabinet

Bill: "good morning"

I said nothing
I quickly just started making the cereal

Bill: "You're basically my daughter and you can't even look at me?

You don't try to make passes on your daughter.

Bill: "what is so funny?"
Charli: "just leave me alone. Please."

He came up behind me.

Bill: "Charli you know I'd never hurt you right?"

My breathing began to quicken
He put his hand on my waist

I quickly dropped my cereal on the ground and ran away.

Not again. I'm not doing that again. He traumatized me once I won't let it happen again.

I quickly grabbed my bag and ran out the door holding in tears

I'm not gonna cry. I'm not gonna cry. He didn't do anything.

I grabbed my bike and began riding to school.

Once I got closer to the school I noticed flashing lights-
What the-

I got to the school- police? What are police doing here?

There were 3 police cars and a lot of
Students surrounding them

What's happening?

I parked my bike and I joined the crowd

Charli: "what happened?"
I asked one if the people

?? - "apparently a teacher was sleeping with one of the students"

My eyes widened

What.

?? - "I know it's terrible right?"

How- no! This is terrible!? How could this happen- no no no no- I ruined his life?! No no no no!
I was falling for him too! I was finally moving on and now this?!
