~Chapter 30~
                        IT HURTS

Chases POV:
I quickly ran up stairs into my room and grabbed my diary
A tear fell from my face but I wiped it away

Dear diary,
She doesn't like me at all. I knew that's how she felt but why does it hurt so bad to hear it from her? I knew she saw me as a friend, I knew she would never actually date me but it's like she took a knife and stabbed me in the heart. It hurts, it hurts so badly to hear her say that. I never wanted to know how she felt about me because I knew it wouldn't be something if wanna hear. The fact that she thinks I don't feel that way about her is crazy. Who doesn't feel that way about her, that's the real question.

I put my book back in my drawer and sadly walked back down stairs. I watched Charli from afar eating her breakfast

She looks so great in my clothes. I'd like to see it more often

I know she said she doesn't see me in a dating way, but I really hope she doesn't see me in a brother way.

There was a bang at the door-

Jeez- who is it

I walked over to the door and opened it

Oh god.

Miss Damelio: "where is she."

What do I do?? Do I tell her or do I say she's not here??

I quickly closed the door and locked it

Chase: "Charli!"

I walked over to the kitchen where sheets eating

Charli: "yeah"
She said taking a bite of her breastfast

Chase: "your moms here"
I said as there was more banging at the door

Her eyes widened as she stood up

Charli: "great. Il deal with this."

I nodded as she walked towards the door.

Charli: "i'm so sorry about her by the way"

She opened the door and her mom rapped her arms around her

Miss Damelio: "I was so worried about you!"

Maybe I should let them talk on their own

Miss Damelio: "I missed you so much Charli-grace"

Charli-Grace? Is that her real name?
It's pretty? I wonder why she doesn't use it?

Alright I shouldn't just be standing here. I should go and let them talk privately

I walked away

Charlis POV:
This is all just an act. The worried Mom I call it. The second there's no longer an audience, is the second the act ends. And it's back to reality.

Her nails begun to dig into my skin
As she whispered into my ear

Miss Damelio: "you selfish little brat"

I pushed her off me and she closed the front door so nobody could see what she was about to do

Charli: "you already picked! Go?? You don't want me in your life anyway and if I'm being honest, right now I've never had a better life!"

The only reason she cares I'm gone is because now she has nobody to do her chores.

Miss Damelio: "don't talk to your mother like that!"

I rolled my eyes

Charli: "you aren't my mom! Moms don't hurt their kids! Moms don't pick their boyfriends over their own daughter! And moms certainly don't kick their kids out of the house!"
