I pinch the bridge of my nose "ok thanks for letting me know lin if you find anything out call me I could use any excuse to get out of this memorial but keep everything in a folder for me if any evidence is found" I say and hang up

"Everything ok?" Sweets asks me

"My boss is missing and we have to get ready to greet my abuelita" I say

"It will be ok, I heard from toni and fangs by the way. They are calling me in need some muscle so I will be gone for the council meeting to deal with some stuff" sweet pea says

"Are you gonna be ok" I ask sweets walking over to him sitting down
"Of course and I know you wanna help but I just can't have you in this war because of the baby" sweet pea says

"I know it sucks though we're kinda like their right hand men" I chuckle grabbing sweet peas shoulders
"I know I love you" he says and kisses me "I love you too" I mumble

I had sweet peas suits in my hands i got him a few in case he didn't like one I get dressed into a white and black dress to my mid thigh abs black heels my hair was straightened my hair was pulled behind my ears so you can see my Diamond ear rings and pear necklace my father gave me I had a white diamonds bracelet on as well with my snake necklace and my engagement ring.

Sweet pea wore a white t shirt and a blue blazer the sleeves pulled to his elbows he wore his dog tags and the one I gave him many years ago. He had on a hold chain I forced him in and he wore the same blue slacks as the color of the blazer I had a nice watch on his right wrist. He didn't want to wear a really expensive one so I got him a reasonably priced one.

Me and v stood with my abuelita and sweets and reg stood a foot or two behind us

"Abuelita how are you holding up?" V asks

She said not good in Spanish "what a tragedy on your twos papa" she says grabbing v and my hand

"I can't believe he's actually gone" I say looking at the ground

"I know it's awful" v says

"Your twos father and his business I knew it would end up this way" abuelita says "I'm blood shed one dark night" she adds and sighs as her worker or someone puts his hand on her back as comfort

"Veronica Avery I would like to introduce you to heraldo my godson he takes good care of me" abuelita says motioning to the man behind her who is around me and vs age

"Nice to meet you heraldo" v says reaching her hand out which he accepts "pleased to meet you" he says i reach my hand out "nice to meet you" I say as he takes my hand "you as well"

"Abuelita I would like you to meet my business partner and boyfriend Reginald Mantle" v says

"It's a pleasure and an honor ma'am" Reg says

"Didn't you date him in high school?" My abuelita asks me

"Yes but then I hit with sweet pea who you've met before my now fiancé" I say

"Hello again" sweets says

"Ambos muy guapos" my abuelita says (both very handsome)

Me and v chuckle "it's very good to meet you both" abuelita says to reg then sweets as she pats their faces

"Can I give this to you it's a guest list for the funeral" herold says handing a paper to Reggie
