[Amid Empire]
As night came throughout the whole capital city of the Amid Empire, Darius himself then dejectedly left the certain tavern building in the middle of the market district of the capital city
After leaving the said establishment, he then boredly walked away as he somehow was exhausted for surveying and inspecting the whole city for any information regarding the royal castle of the Amid Empire
Naturally he visited some public places wherein gossips are apparent in the city, after all with such places, gathering information was much more easier than they could be
Places such as the market district, entertainment district, working district, and other related establishment such as the alleyways and taverns
But instead of hearing the information he wanted to hear regarding the royal castle in the Amid Empire, he instead heard numerous conjecture and praises towards the Emperor which resided within the castle itself
No weaknesses, no exploits, no details regarding the work inside the castle, no nothing, everything that he learned or heard are none other than praises
With such worthless information gained throughout the whole day, he then retreated for the night as he plans to head back to the inn and take a good night rest
As he walk along the street, he then pondered over the paper on his hand regarding some information he had learned today and wondered whether this baseless information would be helpful for Asagi to find a way to exploit the empire's weakness at all
As he turned along the corner of the street, he then released another sighed as he continued to walk down the road
At this moment however, he suddenly got chills all over his body as he felt presence behind him and readied himself for any type of confrontation that may happen
Gripping the broad sword on his his back, he then quickly pulled it out of its sheath and swung it behind him, just in time for him to fend off the people behind him
After taking a step back, he then realized that the people that was following his tracks behind him were none other than the soldiers of the empire
Upom seeing them, he then suddenly panicked as he thought about the possibility of them infiltrating the empire been found out
"Crap! Soldiers of the empire? How long have they been following me? Did we got found out? But how could that happen?"
As if answering his questions, one of the soldiers among the troops following him then spoke up
"You! We believe that you are acquainted with the queen of angels! I need you to come with us and tell us where she is!"
Hearing the soldiers words, Darius then panicked internally as he tried to deny their claim as much as he can
"Queen of the angels? Me? Her companion? Bullshit! Who told such lies?"
But despite his refusal, the soldier kept insisting that certain fact
"We will not disclose our informant! Nevertheless someone had proven that you had infiltrated the empire together with the queen of angels and her companion, thus in accordance to the rules in this times of war, we would then have you come with us"
"Ahahaha! You guys are spewing bullshit! I'm a citizen of the empire! I've done nothing wrong! How could you say that I infiltrated the capital city of the empire itself? Are you guys drunk?" Argued Darius
"You have the right to remain silent" said one of the soldiers as it grips the handle of its sword
Upon seeing such an action, Darius then couldn't help but be aggressive towards his pursuers
