                                       Nats POV

We had ordered pizzas for dinner, figuring none of us really felt like cooking. I'm about to go get Spencer and Peter when I hear them walking up to the kitchen.

"Okay, we have to do that again!" That was Peter.

"Heck yeah. I'm sure I'll have time before I go," Spencer says.

Go? Where the hell is she going? What is she talking about? And why don't I know?

I will definitely have to ask her about that later. I will wait until after dinner to bring it up as I don't want to have the discussion during dinner with everyone.

I'll just push it to the back of my mind for now.. try not to think about it. Just forget so we can enjoy dinner.. all easier said then done. Because why isn't it something I know about?

"Oh, hey Tasha. Didn't know you guys were back!" Her face lights up and I can't help but run to her in excitement.

She catches me as always and twirls me around before placing me back on the ground. "I missed you, love," she tells me as she brings me in for a loving kiss.

"I missed you, too. I'm glad we're home."

"How'd the mission go? Everyone is okay?"

"Ugh, it was a total bust. Didn't really need us all to go. That's why we go back so early," I explain, grabbing her hand to bring her over to the food.

She doesn't move. "Back early? Isn't this the time you were suppose to come back?"

Oh right. "Oh, we actually got back awhile ago.."

"You didn't come find me?" She gives me her sad puppy eyes that make me melt.

"I did.. but you were playing video games with Peter. I didn't want to interrupt, you were talking and it was adorable and.."

        "Adorable?" She questions me.

"Uh, yeah. Seeing you interact with Peter is cute. You're really good with him. Like a big sister?" I say all of this hesitantly as I don't know how she'll feel about it.

But a smile forms on her face. "You think so? I've never had a brother, obviously. But he's a good kid. I was just trying to help him. And he's really good at video games. He says I'm a natural, but I think he was just trying to be nice.."

I stop her rambling with a kiss, making her blush. "See? Adorable." Her blush deepens as she now drags me over to the food, avoiding my comment.

And so we continue on to dinner with the rest of the team, enjoying the meal as one big happy family.

After dinner we all talked for quite awhile, just joking around and telling stories. It's amazing how well Spencer blends in with everyone.

She really does get along with everyone on the team, having small conversations or cracking jokes with each one. It's crazy how great she is with people. She has her walls up, of course. But she's already let them see so much. I know it wasn't exactly her choice.. but she's making the most of it.

Like she does with everything.

I didn't realize I had zoned out of all the conversations going on around me until Tonys shouting grabs my attention.
