Nats POV

Spencer had another customer, so after talking to Alexei and him showing us his set up, Yelena and I left to go back to their place. She said that was her last customer so she'd let us know when she was done. Should only be an hour or two.

So what do Yelena and I decide is best to do while we wait? Drink and talk. What the hell else are we suppose to do? Also, maybe it'll help distract me? Or make it worse. Undecided and yet to be determined.

We've got something playing on the tv in the background but we haven't really been paying attention. We've both had our fair share of drinks and I can say for myself that I'm feeling it a bit.

"Hey! We didn't plan our tattoo!"

"Ah shit. Well, we can always go back. Or wait for Spencer to get back. Since she'd do the tattoo anyway," Yelena reminds me.

"Yes. I can't wait. She's so good." Yelena snickers a little bit so I switch gears, "you don't think Alexei will be upset that we're having her do our tattoo, do you?"

She takes a moment to answer and I don't know if she's genuinely thinking about it or just feeling the booze. "Mm no, I don't think so. I'm pretty sure he likes Spencer more than he likes us anyway." She laughs when she says this so I laugh too. Like I said. I'm feeling the drinks.

"Ya know, I could see that honestly. He gushed about her tattooing skills." As I say this I take another chug of my drink, even though I shouldn't. But we're talking about her. And I'm trying to make sure I say the right things.

"She does do killer tattoos. But I mean she's just amazing completely. Like a good person. Even if she doesn't see it," Yelena gushes somewhat tipsily.

This is not where I wanted the conversation to go. But we're here. Do I get her to talk about her more? Or just try and evade the topic completely? "Yeah, she seems to have a great personality. And a great laugh.." Nope, too much Nat. Time to evade. "Hey shouldn't we be making food or something for the picnic?"

She just looks at me for a minute likes she's deciding something. I hope she decides to ignore it.

"No. We don't have to make anything, even if we were sober enough to do anything in the kitchen."

Fair point. "Are we just ordering food to take with us? Or is this like a fake picnic where we're actually just hiking?" I definitely sound disappointed. Can't help it. I want food. But either way I'll be with Spencer right? Nooo. No. At least I'll be with Yelena.

She's just laughing at me. The alcohol maybe?

"No we don't need to make food because Spencer already did." She finishes laughing, taking another swig of her drink.

   "Wait. Spencer cooks?"

Still drinking, she nods her head. "Oh yeah, she loves cooking. And she's fantastic at it. Like the best food I've ever had. She also cooks at Little Bella's a couple days a week."

Damn. She cooks too? If it were anyone else, I know she'd be telling me to wife her up. But she's Yelena's. And I honestly don't blame her. Seems like she's got a good one.

"I'm happy for you Yelena. You seem genuinely happy. I'm glad you've found your place and your person."

She tilts her head and quirks her eyebrow, giving me a funny look. She goes to say something but that is when Spencer walks through the door.
