Chapter 21

Waking up in my own bed for a refreshing change, I look around my room and notice it's been cleaned since I've last been here... definitely not Peter. I laugh to myself at the thought of Peter actually cleaning.

I get out of bed, despite the pain in my head, and listen through the small gap in my door at all the voices overlapping. I smile realising that I'm actually home. I walk out the door and all the voices stop

"Princessa!!" Pietro yells before zooming over to me and grabbing me into a hug

"Easy!" My dad shouts at Pietro who just rolls his eyes

"It's ok dad, I'm not going to break" I laugh walking over to him, being grabbed into another hug. I walk over to the kitchen to make some food before I realise that everyone is still silent "You can go back to your conversations you know, I'm not going to pass out again". They do as I say and the conversations continue as I eat a spoonful of cereal. I look over at Wanda and Pietro laughing and talking and I lower my barriers to see what they're feeling. But before I do, I notice that two of my favourite people aren't in the room

"Hey, guys?" I question putting down my bowl "Where's Steve and Bucky?"

Everybody just looks at each other awkwardly

"FRIDAY, show me where Steven Rogers and Bucky Barnes are please!" I yell at the AI. An image pops up of Steve in a hospital bed, with Bucky standing next to him talking rather aggressively with each other

"Mr. Barnes and Mr. Rogers are currently in the medical wing"

"Thank you FRIDAY" I look back at my family who are really nervous right now "Pietro, come on man..." I say scowling at him

"Sobasicallysteve'sgirlfriendsoldyououttoshieldandhedidnttrytosaveyousoLokistabbedhim" He rambles faster than he can run

"Slow down! Please P...." I plead

"Steve's girlfriend sold you out to SHIELD and he didn't fight for you so Loki stabbed him and obviously Bucky is also mad" He rambles but slower this time. My face drops and I storm over to the elevator, much to the protests of my family. The moment the elevator stops, I hop out and make my way angrily to Steve's room. I notice the door is slightly ajar so I stand flat against the wall and listen in on the conversation

"She's like your daughter Steve! I don't understand how you wouldn't fight for her!" Bucky growls

"Buck..." Steve begins but Bucky interrupts

"You know your girlfriend and her little friends were keeping some punk named Pietro in a holding facility and Jess made a promise to get him out and guess what SHE DID! Now him and his sister are up there happy!"

" I couldn't go against Shield!"

"You did it for me!"

I leaned closer to hear clearer but ended up falling into the door and closing it. I shoot up and stand flat against the wall again, as a Bucky opens the door and walks out of the room

Bucky looks directly at me then shrugs and walks back into the room

"No one there, listen Steve..."

I ignore the rest of the conversation and speed to the elevator, tapping my foot impatiently until I reached my floor. As soon as I did, I jumped out and ran to Wanda
