This is a really short one, just a bunch of scenes that came to mind, and because I'm still busy with my presentations for my classes (and just really wanted to write something).

Have fun!

~HALLOWEEN~

Sirius was proud to be a home-maker (or "househusband" as his former classmates would tease him). He liked staying at home making breakfast, preparing lunches for his wife and children, he like fixing the house and decorating it, and he loved the stores where he could buy all that he needed from groceries to DIY tools. Even as a wizard, Sirius would join other home-makers – mothers and fathers – to their special stores before picking up their kids from school. Then there were the school projects that he would help his children with, though he would ask for Emmanuelle to aid them since she was the artist in the family. So, when Sirius completely forgot about the Halloween party after school, it hurt his pride of being a proud home-maker.

It wasn't that they didn't celebrate Halloween in the United Kingdom, it's just that during the times of the said holiday, they were in Hogwarts, and Hogwarts didn't make them wear costumes since it was treated as an ordinary day – dinner was the only time they feel Halloween since it was a feast of sugar and sour candies. When he walked Harry and Carina to the bus stop, he was confused to see children of all ages wearing costumes, it didn't really dawn on him until one of the mothers approached him about it. By the time he learned that it was Halloween and that the school party was that day, it was already too late – Harry and Carina were already on the bus, and said bus was driving away. He quickly ran home to find the two a costume, only to find his and Emmanuelle's old Hogwarts uniform.

This would be okay, I guess, he thought. But to be certain, he went to the floo to ask. Remus wasn't happy when he heard his name being called in the floo during his nap.

"What is it, Sirius?" Remus grumbled.

"Quick question, if I had Carina and Harry wear our old Hogwarts uniform, is it still counted as exposing the magical world to Muggles?" Sirius asked.

Remus scratched his head in confusion. "As long as you don't use magic to expose it, I guess – besides, its Halloween, no one's going to believe they're actual witches and wizards."

"Well, that's good enough for me! Thanks, Moony!"

After that call, Sirius ran all the way to the school and asked the teacher to call for his children. It was in the middle of their math when Carina and Harry were pulled out, and they were more than happy to leave the class in the middle of it. He brought them to one of the bathrooms in the school and handed them his and Emmanuelle's old Hogwarts uniform and their graduation witch and wizard hats.

"There, you're witches and wizards," said Sirius once the two came out of the bathroom wearing clothes that were too big for them, but he quickly fixed it with a simple wave of a wand (discreetly).

"We know," Carina stated. "That's why the microwave exploded when I had a cold – and Harry and I have been talking to the ghost in the attic. Her name's Phoebe, by the way, and she loves cats, and plays the guitar."

"Don't give me that look, young lady!" Sirius had his hands on his hips.

"But at Halloween, we're not supposed to be ourselves," Harry sighed. "This is just normal to us."

"Yeah, we'll go to Hogwarts in a few years, so... doesn't really count as a costume," Carina added. "And this isn't even a real wand." She waved the piece of wood Sirius took from the tree on the way there.
