Newt's POV

I was worried for Maddie when I saw her walking back from homestead probably to drop the bandages she didn't use on Thomas so I decided to follow her. She didn't notice me but I still wanted to know if she was fine so I asked, "Are you ok? You know you can talk to me if what happened last week traumatized you." "I'm fine." She replied and before I could say anything she left probably to go to her tree house I also know what she was saying was completely a lie the thing that happened must have really messed her life up.

*Flashback*

Maddie's POV

When I was just working on my own in the medical hut I heard these footsteps coming up but I thought it was Jeff so I completely ignored it. I then felt a hand on my waist and I automatically nudged it off and turned around. The person I saw was Mark, one of the gladers that non-stop flirts with me which gets hella annoying. He then started whispering things I didn't want to do and he then pushed me into one of the beds and tried to start raping me. Before I could scream for help I saw Jeff and Clint come in and their faces automatically turned into anger when they saw what was happening. They both then pulled Mark off me which I ran for it and went to the first person I saw.

Newt's POV

I was talking with Alby about some stuff when I felt a tug on my shirt I turned around and saw Maddie with tears in her face. She honestly looked horrible and whoever did this will get their butts beaten from the keepers, Alby, and myself. I then tried calming her down but it wasn't working that's when Alby and I shared the look of anger and worriment. She then started to shakily point to the medical hunt and that's when Alby went to get Frypan, Gally, Winston, and Chuck. We then walked towards the medical hut where we saw Clint and Jeff holding down a beaten up Mark. "What in the hell happened here?" Alby exclaimed and if looks can kill right now Mark would be dead. That's when I felt Maddie flinch in my arms since I was holding her to my chest at that point so I picked her up bridal style and tried calming her down again. She put her arms around my neck and her face in the crook of my neck and started to silently cry and that's the only thing you heard before I as well yelled out, "WHAT IN THE BLOODY HELL HAPPENED?" That's when Jeff told us what happened. "Clint and I came in and saw this slinthead trying to rape her so we pulled him off her and started to punch him and hold him down so he couldn't run at her." "Put him in the pits. Jeff can you call the rest of the keepers to talk about what we should do to Mark. Newt just carry her to the council hall and try calming her down again." We all then nodded and went to do what we were assigned

Alby's POV

I am soooo pissed at that dumb slinthead how dare he put a hand on my little sister. I went on a walk for a minute to calm myself down and went to the council hall to see the rest of the keepers that didn't come with me to the medical hunt staring at Maddie in Newt's arm sleeping. "What happened? Why is there a meeting now?" Minho asked. I then proceeded to tell what Jeff told us what happened to Maddie and when I finished I saw all of them with murderous looks wanting to kill Mark. "So what should we do boys? I vote for banishment. Who's with me?" I exclaimed. I saw all of them raise their hands and we continued out to see the majority of the gladers look at us telling us what the hell happened.
