Patton was coming home from work and waiting at the bus stop right when it decided to start pouring. Patton didn't bring an umbrella or his coat because of how sunny it was earlier. Patton looked up and saw his boss, Logan Hawkings. Logan was gazing at him which looked more like a glare, Patton shifted underneath Logan's glare feeling really nervous for some weird reason. Logan began to walk towards his soaking employee and put his jacket around Patton and held the umbrella over them.
"Wha-"
"You'll get sick"
Patton nodded and waited for the bus to come.
"So you actually know your employees?"
"Of course I've just never talked to them"
"And why is that?"
"Because I can't keep small talk, and what is there to talk about?"
"Anything!" Patton said twirling around.
"How can you be so happy in this weather? It's disgusting"
"Well it's better to look on the bright side of things, I mean your a smart guy rain brings health to flowers flowers bring pollen and pollen makes honey!"
"Mh Well-"
"Don't you dare ruin honey for me"
"Ok Patton"
"The Boss knows my name!"
"I know all my employees names I told you this earlier"
"You did but now that you know my name-"
"Already knew it"
"I gotta come up with a nickname for you!"
"Please don't"
"How about Honeydew?"
"Like the boba tea?"
"So Honeydew is human"
"Of course I am"
"I normally see bosses as robots"
Logan let out a small chuckle which made Patton gasp and his heart skipped a beat.
"Woah your laugh is amazing" Logan blushed and began to stutter.
"Well thank y-you P-P-Patton"
"Your welcome, now where is that bus?"
"Maybe it broke down I mean it's raining cat's and dogs"
"Really!?" Patton looked around and only saw buildings and waters.
"No it's not"
"Figuratively, It's a metaphor"
"Oh yeah sometimes I get confused"
"I see"
"Well it was nice finally meeting the bossman but I'm tired of standing in the rain"
Logan nodded and Patton gave him back the jacket.
"You'll get sick"
"Well then walk me home and I'll give you your jacket there"
Logan blushed again and nodded while they we're walking they talked about basic stuff and Patton still called Logan Honeydew. When they got outside of Pattons apartment they still talked.
"Ok Honeydew it's time to go it's nine and you need eight hours of sleep"
"Of course well I'll see you around"
Patton handed over the jacket to Logan and kissed his cheek.
"Hope we could hang more Honeydew"
Logan whole face was red and so were the tips of his ears.
"Y-Yeah"
Patton smiled at his boss and went inside his apartment. Logan on the other was "Singing in the rain"
