Logan was helping Patton and Roman put up decorations for a holiday that Patton made up called Remember Day. Logan didn't see the point of this day since it was just the four of them going through all of Thomas's old memories and hanging old decorations he since made when he was able to draw around the mindscape. Virgil didn't normally help on this day but he'll help at the very end. Surprisingly Virgil came downstairs earlier then he normally did watching a conspiracy youtube video not paying attention to what was going on around him. Logan took glances at Virgil as Virgil made his way into the kitchen. Patton was running out the kitchen with soda in his hand and Logan saw it coming.
"WATCH-"
then they collided.
"Out"
Patton started to apologize to Virgil over and over again as Virgil kept reasurring him that it was OK.
"Really Patton it's ok"
"I'll wash your hoodie once again Virgil I'm rea-"
"In the name of grape flavored crofters its OK"
Patton smiled and took Virgils hoodie to the laundry room. Logan chewed on the end of his tie and continued to help Roman hang up the old decorations.
"Hey Specs you should go get Virgil to do the roof decorations he's the only one tall enough to anyway"
"Why me?"
"Because your the only one he listen too"
"I don't think that's true I think your just afraid of heig-"
"Go!"
Logan turned and walked upstairs to Virgil's room and knocked on the door.
"Come in"
Logan slowly opened the door to see Virgil standing in the center of his room shirtless and in his normally ripped black jeans.
"Need something?"
"Y-Yeah would you do the roof decorations?"
"Uh sure hold on let me just find a shirt"
Virgil bent over into his closet and Logan tried hard not to stare at Virgil's back muscles. Virgil came out with the christmas sweater and threw it on
"Lead the way" Logan nodded and went to the side if the mindscape apartment with the ladder on the side.
"Your not scared right?"
"Of course not, I'm not Roman"
Virgil and Logan giggled together as Logan held the sides of the ladder and Virgil climbed up with the box of decorations.
"All you have to do is just throw the box in the air so it scatters"
"OK!"
Virgil did just that until he slipped. Logan's eyes widen and as an instant reflex Logan held out his arms and caught Virgil. Virgil curled into a ball and clinged on Logans shirt there was a tears running down at the side of his eye. Logan could tell that Virgil was panicking a bit so he took Virgils hand and placed it on his heart area. As Virgil felt Logans heart beating he became calmer with every thump. Virgil snuggled his head into Logans chest and whispered
"Thank you"
"No problem V"
Patton stepped outside and saw Logan cuddling Virgil in his arms. Patton rushed over and asked
"What happened?"
"He slipped"
Logan then gestured to the ladder. Patton gasped and hugged Virgil (and Logan cause he's holding him) Patton then whispered into Logan's ear
"Take him to his room let him relax and you stay with him"
"Me?"
"Yes you"
Logan just carried Virgil to his room without complaint. When Logan laid Virgil in the bed he was going to move into the chair but Virgil pulled on his tie
"Stay" was all he mumbled. Logan laid next to the anxious persona and just mindlessly played with his hair. Virgil looked up at Logan and kissed his chin
"I love you Logan"
Logan blushed a deep shade of red but then kissed Virgil's forehead
"I love you too Virgil"
Oh my I'm so slow i just realized why Patton thought Virgil's name was going to end with an AN. Because there's PattON (pronounced PATT-AN) LogAN And RomAN. I feel so stupid now 😭
