'*I Don't Sleep - Sarcastic Sounds*'

SUNDAY 09.04.2023

Four months, an invitation to Chris and Elsa's wedding, 6 kilos gained, a new job, a new house and a lot of orgasms later, I was preparing for the most important event of my life: the BAFTA Awards. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts had invited me to the Awards to promote the new series based on my novel that was about to be released.

Quentin and some of the actors from the series were also invited to come. Even though I wasn't nominated for anything, I was really excited to go. Plus, I had the honor of presenting the 'best actress' award on stage. My book had now sold over 80 million copies worldwide. Day after day, I was gaining popularity on social networks and some readers even recognized me on the street.

I had been hired by the English newspaper 'The Times', for which I wrote a weekly half-page review of a new novel that had just come out. In addition, my second book was about to be published. I was as fulfilled in my professional life as in my personal life.

I had been living with Tom in our new house for three months now and everything was going great. There was nothing more satisfying than knowing that when I came home after a day's work, he would be waiting for me at home.

On his side, his professional career was also soaring. After directing the play 'Hamlet - William Shakespeare' with Ava Williams, my man was now being approached by several theaters to become their director. Lately, he had been working closely with a New York organization, forcing him to work from home.

The Shubert Organization, with whom Tom was working, wanted to adapt my first novel into a play and put on several performances in the U.S. in 2023, so this year. I was very happy for both of us and even happier to know that we would be going there together.

It was April 9, 2023, my man was now 42 years old and I loved him more than anything in the world. Since we had moved in together, we were really blossoming. We had never had a fight and were excitedly planning our future.

"You look absolutely majestic Love," Tom exclaimed as he walked into our bedroom.

"Thanks Lovey, you don't look too bad either," I replied as I looked at him through the large mirror in our dressing room.

I was dressed in a tight red dress cut with a large neckline. Since I had gained back quite a bit of weight, my body was back in shape and my hips were wide again. I wasn't fat, far from it, but I was finally not extremely thin anymore.

My man wore a light gray suit, his pants perfectly hugging his bulging buttocks. This was accompanied by a bow tie of the same color, presenting him as a man of class and stature. His long curly hair fell behind his neck and over his ears.

When I received the invitation to the BAFTA Awards, I was told that I could take someone with me and, without the slightest hesitation, I turned directly to my man.

In the months since my return to London, I had become close again to Anna and Jane, with whom I had been going out regularly. Beth had finally met a boy she really liked and was planning to introduce him to us tomorrow night, when the three girls were coming over for dinner.

I called Lea every week without fail. She kept me updated on what was going on in our city as I explained what I was going through here. She had planned to come to London for the Ascension holidays in May and Tom had suggested that she stay with us instead of having to look for a hotel.

Since the beginning of December, I had not been back to Switzerland and had not heard from my grandparents. I had everything I needed here with Tom and our two cats. My man had insisted on a little ceremony announcing that he was adopting Thor and Loki, which made me laugh a lot.
