Over the days, over the weeks, I had gained popularity with my book. By now, over 900,000 copies had been sold and new ones were being produced every day. I had gone from just over 400 followers on Instagram to 120,000. I never imagined that something like this could happen.

Quentin had invited me to several book signings where I was able to happily meet my 'fans'. I had started writing a new novel, which was related to the first one. Tom was very happy with me and my work. He supported me in all my ideas and reassured me whenever I had any doubts. He was the perfect boyfriend and the perfect love.

Half awake, with a big smile on my face, I was enjoying my life. I was not the same person I was 4 months ago, I was happy and fulfilled. Tom had changed my life, he had changed me for the better.

"Hello princess," he greeted me as he entered the bedroom with a tray on which stood various pastries and drinks.

"What's this?" I wondered as I rubbed my eyes.

"Breakfast in bed," he replied happily. "Happy Valentine's Day Love," he wished me as he set the tray down beside me.

I had never celebrated Valentine's Day before, Marc thought it was a commercial holiday and not worth celebrating. Which in itself was totally true. But everything was different with Tom, I appreciated any opportunity that allowed us to spend more time together.

"Happy Valentine's Day," I said in turn, sliding my hands over his neck.

His sweet lips crashed into mine as his upper body rested on my chest. His long curly hair fell over my forehead and caressed my temples. After a loving kiss, he sat at my right and placed the tray on our touching thighs. Pancakes, waffles, croissants, fruit, tea, coffee and orange juice decorated the white tray.

"You're way too good for me," I complimented him as I straightened up and placed a pillow on my lower back.

I tasted each of the pastries and happily gulped down my tea and coffee. The croissants had been purchased but the pancakes and waffles were made by my man's hands. I felt like the luckiest woman in the world. Maybe I really was. Tom was special, he was out of this world. We were living the perfect love.

"This is absolutely delicious. Thanks Lovey," I thanked him with a smile.

With his sweetness that I liked so much, he slipped a strawberry between my lips and kissed me quickly, catching half the fruit between his lips while briefly licking my mouth.

"Glad you like it," he replied with a wink.

I hadn't slept at home in over 4 weeks, spending all my time at his place when I wasn't working. I had met his closest friends and some of his colleagues. Tom had gotten a promotion at work and, in addition to being a teacher, was now also directing several plays. He was completely fulfilled and it showed on his face.

"I have a present for you," I exclaimed as I left the bed and went to look in my bag.

I pulled out a rectangular package that I had wrapped in light blue wrapping paper. I had found the gift several weeks ago, but since I had planned other things for his birthday, which was five days ago, I thought it would be a good idea to give it on Valentine's Day.

"Love, you didn't have to buy me anything, you've already done enough for my birthday," he remarked with a small smile.

"I know, but I've been looking forward to giving this to you for a long time," I replied, handing him the package.
