March 23, 380 in the time of the realm of humanity
The rain continued it's downpour as Mav stared outside while Eugeo cleaned his blade.
Mav: Ronnie and Tiese are late.
Eugeo: Yeah. They've never been late before.
Mav: Hm, well it is downpouring right now so I don't blame them if they'd be late.
Eugeo: Maybe we can check up on them?
Mav: Sure. I'll go and see if their still at their dorm. Stay here and hold down the fort in case they come.
Eugeo: Sounds good to me.
Mav picked his sword up and left the room. Eugeo chuckled since that Mav always carried his sword around even when there's no reason. To Mav however, his sword was like his wallet. It felt weird not having it on him. Mav quickly made his way to the Trainee dorms feeling the rain poke him until he reached the front door and walked in seeing Ms. Azurica.
Mav: Yo!
Ms.Azurica: Mav? What are you doing here?
Mav: I'm looking for Eugeo and I's pages. Have you seen Ronnie and Tiese lately?
Ms.Azurica: I thought they were already heading your way. When I saw them, they were heading towards the Elite Disciple dorms. I must confess however that they did seem a little distraught.
Mav: I see. Thank you for telling me. Have a good night.
Mav walked back out into the rain and took a deep breath before going into a full sprint back towards his droms.
Mav: I hate this place.

Eugeo: Where are Ronnie and Tiese?
Raios and Humbert grinned as they walked over to their bedroom and walked in. Eugeo followed them in to see quite the sight. Ronnie and Tiese were on the bed all tied up tears in their eyes.
Eugeo: What.....What is the meaning of this?!
Raios: This was unavoidable for you see, Primary Trainees Schtrinen and Arabel disrespected us to an absurd degree.
Humbert: We were enjoying our day when your page accused me of abusing my own page and satisfying my lust. I felt so offended you see. I told you and Mav I was just merely asking for assistance in recovering my fatigue.
Raios: That's not all. These two also tried to hold me accountable since I was his roomate. To think, a low-ranking noble telling me "Have you no honor as a Noble?" What bullshit.
Eugeo: Even so, tying them up and locking them in your bedroom is a blatant violation of academy rules!

Raios took his robe off and climbed on top of Tiese.

Humbert followed suit going for Ronnie as Eugeo prepared to pull his blade out.
Raios: Hold on there boy. Take one more step and you'll become a criminal. So stay there like a good boy.
Eugeo was frozen, his legs wouldn't move nor his arms. He felt weak.
Eugeo: Why? I can hear their pleas but they sound so far away. My heart is pounding so loudly I feel like I'm gonna burst out of my body so why? Why can't I move?
Then it all hit Eugeo.
Eugeo: The Taboo Index....That's right, it's one of the only reasons why this is even happening. A law that can be loop-holed this easily....
Eugeo began to draw his sword feeling extreme resistance he saw something in his vision.

Eugeo: This...it's the same as before...No...not again..NEVER AGAIN!
Eugeo began to draw his sword as his right eye exploded as he drew his sword.
Eugeo: FUCKING BASTAAAAAAAARDS!!!!
Eugeo violently jerked his sword missing Raios but slicing Humbert's arm off as a fountain of blood began to pour out.
Humbert: MY ARM! THE BLOOD OH GOD!!! My life points are decreasing! Lord Raios, a sacred arts spell...no, please give some of your life points!
Raios calmly got off the bed and grabbed his sword off the wall.
Raios: Was not expecting dear Eugeo. Magnificent, truly! It's funny, I was just planning on disciplining your little page but instead I get to punish a heinous criminal like yourself! Heinous criminal Eugeo, I Raios Antinous, third-ranking nobleman's heir, in accordance with the nobles' judicial authority, shall execute you!
Raios blade came crashing down on Eugeo until a black scabbard deflected the sword as Raios stumbled back and Eugeo looked to see his familiar friend.
Eugeo: Mav....
Raios: Ah Elite Disciple Mav, perfect timing! Now, stand aside and let me execute a heinous criminal who violated the Taboo!
Mav looked toward the bed and put the pieces together.
Mav: Tsk, third fucking time? Whatever....
Mav unsheathed his katana and pointed it towards Raios.
Raios: Splendid! Simply splendid! Now I get to kill two people! DIE LOWLY COMMONER!
Raios slammed an overhead sword skill toward Mav who's blade flashed white for a split second as Mav side-stepped to the left at the last minute parrying the attack and pivoting in a one eighty degree spin inverting his blade and slamming into Raios's stomach before quickly pulling the blade out and throwing an elbow into Raios's nose hearing a faint crack then turning back around and slicing his chest with two rapid strikes. Raios stumbled back blood seeping from the stab and lacerations making him cough up a little of the crimson ichor. Raios threw one more strike as Mav ducked under the attack and dragged his blade across Raios's sternum. Raios dropped to the floor his breathing quiet and ragged until a bloodied katana blade went right into his back silencing him and leaving him as a corpse in his own pool of blood. The room went deafening silent until Humbert quivered.
Humbert: He's....He's...you....you....MUDERER!MONSTER! AAAHHH!
Humbert stumbled towards the door seeing a blade for a split second until Humbert body dropped to the floor and his head casually rolling across the floor. Mav ran two fingers across either side of his blade and deeply sighed. Everyone looked at Mav as he turned towards everyone before sheathing his sword and approaching Ronnie who ran into his arms.
Mav: Are you hurt?
Ronnie: No.
Mav: Mentally?
Ronnie: A little bit.
Mav: Sorry.
Ronnie: It's fine. If anything I feel more safe than I ever felt before.
Mav: I'm.....happy to hear that.
Eugeo and Mav heard a weird noise and then looked up and saw a face. Mav covered Ronnie's ears.
Mav: Cover Tiese's ears.
Eugeo covered Tiese's ears as the face began to speak.
???: Singular Unit Detected. Tracing ID. Coordinates Fixed. Report Complete.
The face disappeared as Eugeo heard Humbert's words. Murderer. Monster.
Eugeo: Now I'm just like those goblins...
Eugeo began to weep as he felt a hand on his shoulder.
Mav: Cut the shit. You're not a monster. You're a human just like me. All we can do is go with the choice we feel is right and accept the consequences.
It was a night no one was going to forget except for Mav, probably.

Eugeo slowly woke seeing Mav sitting up against the wall. He looked at Eugeo and smiled faintly.
Mav: Sleep well?
Eugeo: Best as I could.
Mav: Good.
The door to their lockup opened showing Ms. Azurica.
Ms.Azurica: Come out.
The two did as they were told as Ms. Azurica told Eugeo to come closer. Ms. Azurica pinched a small bead as it burst into a green dust. She held her hand out and pushed the dust towards Eugeo's eye.
Ms.Azurica: System Call. Generate Luminous Element. Reconstruct Lost Organ. Now, try opening your eye.
Eugeo did as instructed and his eye opened like normal.
Eugeo: Thank you very much, Ms. Azurica.
Ms.Azurica: Don't go thanking me. I have to hand you two over to your escort. Before I do, let me say this. Disciple Eugeo. You've broken a seal I was never able to break which means you should be able to go where I was never able to go. Believe in your sword and your comrade. Disciple Mav, I never really got a chance to know you but underneath that playful exterior, I see a drive unlike no other I've seen before. I'm certain that you'll find your answers in that tower. I shall be here praying that you both find the light forever.

Eugeo and Mav stood in front of their escort who had their back turned to them. Eugeo seemed to recognized that blue and gold palette.
Girl: I am the overseer of the capital city of Centoria and also an Integrity Knight of the Axiom Church...
The girl turned around as Eugeo immediately recognized who it was while Mav stood there with asking himself if that was Saber from fate.
Alice: Alice Synthesis Thirty.
Mav: Oh never mind then.
