I heard a knock at my door and quickly got up from my bed and checked the eyehole before opening the door with a smile.
Shino:Hello Asuna.
Asuna:Hi Shino!
Shino:Did you bring everything?
Asuna held up the materials we needed and nodded.
Asuna:You bet.
Shino:Alright then.Let me save my game.
I sat down on my bed and made sure I was on a checkpoint before turning off my TV and turning the console off.
Asuna:What were you playing?
Shino:Halo.Y/N let me borrow it and his console.
Asuna:Ah,that makes me even more excited!He's gonna be so shocked.
Shino:Really?I don't think so.
Asuna and I washed our hands as we prepped the ingredients to make some chocolates.
Asuna:What makes you say that?
Shino:Well....he's always that cocky jokester kinda person. Friendly to everyone and very touchy feely.....I wouldn't be surprised if this would be like his tenth box of chocolates.
Asuna:Hahahaha!
Shino:What?...What's so funny?
Asuna:You definitely haven't been paying attention.
Shino:Huh?What do you mean?
Asuna:I mean....oh hand me the tray.
I passed Asuna the tray to make the molds as she continued.
Asuna:It's hard to believe but, Mav is pretty nervous around girls.
Shino:That's hard to believe when there's so much competition.
Asuna:He just knows how to play it cool.And take it from me,I've seen him sneaking glances at you.
Shino:You're lying.
Asuna:Shino,I have no reason to lie.If it wasn't gonna work out,I'd tell you.
Shino:Sorry.I'm just...really scared about what he'll say...
Asuna:Just muster up that confidence and tell him.What would Sinon do?
Shino:Grab him by his collar and kiss him.

We finished making the chocolates as I picked up my phone and called Y/N.I noticed it was a taking a little while until he picked up.
Y/N:Hey!If you make me Marth again Kazuto,I'll shoot you down.It's Chrom or nothing!
Shino:U-um.....
Y/N:Ah!So sorry Shino.Kazuto and I are going hard in Smash Ultimate with Klein.Ya need something?
Shino:I wanted to see....i-if you'd like to uh...hang out tomorrow.
Y/N:Wait......tomorrow's Valentine's Day?Interesting...Anyways,I'd be down.What do you wanna do?
Shino:Probably have dinner or something?
Y/N:Nice!I can always go for a good meal.I'll pick you up around five or so okay?
Shino:Yeah....sounds good.
Y/N:Okay,I'll see you tomorrow Shino.Hey Klein!Don't vacuum up the pizza-
I hung up and chuckled a little as Asuna came over and placed her hands on my shoulders.
Asuna:You got this okay?
Shino:Okay...yeah.I got this...

Y/N took Shino to fancy-like Chinese cuisine restaurant as they sat across from each other in silence with the sound of silverware gently hitting plates and various patrons speaking in low tones.Y/N was wearing a black long sleeved shirt with black regular-fit jeans and two-tone sneakers. Shino was wearing tan jacket with the sleeves rolled-up with a graphic t-shirt underneath and blue skinny jeans with some basic sneakers.Shino pushed her glasses back up her nose.
Y/N:Forgive me.
Shino:For what?
Y/N:I honestly don't know what to talk about.
Shino:Oh,you're fine.I'm kinda at a lost as well to be honest.
Y/N:I see.......
Shino looked around the venue taking in the sights until she locked eyes with Y/N who was staring straight at her as he chuckled.
Shino:What?
Y/N:Oh nothing.You're just nice to look at.
Shino:Is that supposed to be a compliment?
Y/N:It most definitely is.I think you should take it.
Shino:Hehe,thanks.I'm really glad you took me out today.
Y/N:No problem.It's the least I could do.
Shino:What do you mean?
Y/N:Uh......I guess it's because since it's Valentine's Day and all I wanted to do something somewhat interesting.I obviously couldn't do anything too fancy.That would cost me a fortune.So I settled on this place.I hope it was fine with you.
Shino:It's perfect.Thanks.

Y/N stopped at Shino's house as Shino unbuckled her seatbelt and faced him.
Shino:Could you come in?I wanted to give you something.
Y/N:Oh my!A young maiden inviting me into her house?Oh the romance is in the air!
Shino:Shut up,just come in.
Y/N:Haha!Okay.
Y/N followed Shino into her apartment as he looked around her house.
Shino:I'm gonna head to the bathroom real quick.Just give me a sec.
Y/N:No problem.Take your time.
Shino went into the bathroom and looked at herself in the mirror.She took multiple deep breaths and psyched herself up.
Shino:You got this...
Shino walked out the bathroom and into her kitchen as she took the box of chocolates she made with the help of Asuna and approached Y/N.
Y/N:?
Shino:Here.....Happy Valentine's Day.
Shino handed Y/N her chocolates as he smiled.
Y/N:Aw,you made something for little old me?
Y/N took the chocolates and inspected the box.
Y/N:Wow!You really went all out with this.Thanks Shino,this is awesome!
Shino:No problem. But Y/N, there's something else I need to tell you.
Y/N:Oh?What's that?
Shino:I...I-I uh....we've been friends for awhile now and I've come to respect you a great deal.You helped me when I trapped myself within a never- ending nightmare in my head.And I uh......
Sinon began to trail off as Y/N stood there patiently waiting for her.Shino kept trying to find the words as she began to panic slightly before taking another deep breath.
Shino:Basically, what I'm trying to say is....you're the best friend I've ever had....but...
Shino took Y/N's hand into hers as she looked him in his eyes.
Shino:I...I want to be more than just best friends!
Y/N:Shino.......
Shino:Y/N.....I love you!Will you please go out with me?!
Y/N:.......
The silence became long and deafening as Shino looked up to see a shocked blushing Y/N.
Y/N:Wow uh....can't say I was really expecting that one....
Shino:........
Y/N:But I can say that I feel the same way,Shino.
Shino:You do?
Y/N:Yeah....
Y/N pulled Shino close to him as he smiled.
Y/N:I'd love to go out with you.
Shino's face lit up with red as she threw her arms around Y/N and pulled him into a very passionate kiss.After a minute or so,she broke the kiss and looked into his eyes.
Shino:I wanted to do that for so long now.
Y/N:And now you can do it whenever you want.
Shino:I will.Like right now.
Shino continued to kiss Y/N as they fell back on the bed.Shino was straddled over Y/N as she smiled.
Shino:I love you,Y/N.
Y/N:I love you too,Shino.
