I make a couple sudden movements in front of Yuuki.
Y/N:Did I glitch out at all?
Yuuki:No,it's fine.I can see you and the everything around you crystal clear!
Y/N:I think we're good, Kazuto.
Kazuto:Nice.
Y/N:Alright,i'll see you in class.
Kazuto:Take care.
I walked out of the mechatronics room as Yuuki took in the sights.
Yuuki:Wow....your school is ginormous!
Y/N:I'll show you more later,but lunch break is almost over.
Yuuki:Okay!I'm excited to check out your class!
Y/N:Before that,we need to head to the faculty room to meet my teacher.
Yuuki:Um.....
Y/N:Problem?
Yuuki:It's the one part of school I don't miss.I don't like the faculty room.
Y/N:Don't worry about it.The teachers here are pretty chill.
I opened the door and walked into the faculty room.
Y/N:Excuse me.
Yuuki:Me-me too!
I walked over to my teacher and explained the situation.
Y/N:Is that cool?
Teacher:Yeah,that's fine.
My teacher looked at the camera and smiled.
Teacher:What is your name?
Yuuki:Oh!Um...Yuuki!Yuuki Konno,sir!
Teacher:Ok,Ms.Konno,you're welcome in my class anytime you want.Although,we started Akutagawa's "A Lorry" today.Unless you stick with it to the end,you won't get the point.
Yuuki:Y-yes,sir!Thank you very much.
I nodded at my teacher and headed into my class and sat down at my desk while Yuuki looked around the room in amazement.
Rika:There you are.Where've you been?I couldn't find you at lunch.
Y/N:Oh,I was getting stuff sorted out.
Rika leaned on my desk as she the camera.
Rika:What's that?
Y/N:Right.This is Yuuki Konno.She's in the hospital right now and can't leave the room she's in so she'll be attending class like this.
Yuuki:Nice to meet ya!I can only hang out for a little while though.
Rika:Huh,that's cool.Well,it's nice to meet you as well.I'm Rika.
The door opened as the teacher walked in.Rika went back to her seat as did the other students.
Teacher:Alright then, class...please open up your text book page 97.We'll be reading "A Lorry" by Ryunoske Akutgawa. Let's see, who will read it for us? Yuuki Konno. Would you do it for us?
Yuuki:Huh?Me?
Teacher:Is that fine with you?
Yuuki:No,sir!I-I can do it!
Yuuki summoned a book from the desk she created for herself and began to read.

Y/N:You were quite popular.
Yuuki:Thanks for making today happen Y/N.Really,I had a blast.I'm never gonna forget today ever.
Y/N:I'm glad.The teacher said you could come back tomorrow.Is there anywhere you wanna see or do?
Yuuki:Um,I guess,there is one place i'd like to go.

Yuuki:Hey,are your folks cool if you stay out for so late?You've been holding me around all day.
Y/N:I texted them so they're cool.Now,direct me on where i'm going.

I walked through a shopping mall and into a residential area as I looked at all the houses.
Y/N:Have we reached Tsukimidai?
Yuuki:Yeah,next corner.There's a white house.Can you stop there?
Nighttime was upon us as we reached the white house on top of a hill.
Y/N:Your house I assume?
Yuuki:Yeah......
I looked at the house and it was definite no has been in there or outside for awhile.The plants in the flowerpots were withered, along with one of the pots being knocked over.The soil was scattered on the entrance way and in the backyard,there was a small white table and two chairs with one of the chairs being on it's back.
Yuuki:I never thought that I get the chance to see it again.Thanks for bringing me out here...and,for everything.
Y/N:You wanna head inside?
Yuuki:Nah,this is okay.Come on.Let's head back before your folks get worried.
Y/N:They won't.We can stay a little bit longer.
Yuuki:Me and my family...we only got to live here a little over a year.And the weird thing is,I can remember everyday so clear.My sister and me used to play in the yard running around and around.We had barbecues and,we even built the bookshelves with our dad!Good times.....
Y/N:I bet.
Yuuki:Yeah,they're gonna tear it down,though.
Y/N:Why?
Yuuki:My aunt wants to put a convenience store here,or,maybe sell it.
Y/N:I see.
Yuuki:That's why I wanted to come here.
Y/N:Well you can save it.
Yuuki:How?
Y/N:Well you're almost sixteen,so you can marry and keep this house from being torn down.The rights would go to you.
Yuuki:Ahahaha!You've got the craziest ideas!Although....
Yuuki trailed off.
Yuuki:I wouldn't mind marrying you.I'd be Yuuki L/N hehehe!
Y/N:?!
Yuuki:Well,anyways,I can't thank you enough,Y/N.Just seeing my old house again,you don't know how happy that makes me.I remember when we'd go to church to pray and stuff.And mommy always said this to me and my sister:"God would never put us through all this suffering,if he didn't think we could bare it."And it didn't make me feel any better,though.Instead of talking from the Bible,what I really wanted was for mom to talk to us like....well,a mom.But,you know,after seeing my old house again,I think I get it now.The words didn't matter.It was the feeling behind those words.She was praying for me so I wouldn't feel sorry for myself.So,I could be strong to the end.And,now I finally get it.
Y/N:I'm happy for you.
I looked back at Yuuki who smiled at me and reached her hand out at me as I held out my hand.It might've not felt like I was touching anything but I could feel her emotion.

I spent as much time as I could with Yuuki going on or actually more accurately, dragged into going on several dates with her in ALO and in the real world kinda. It's usually just me walking around showing her what Japan has to offer. She attended classes with me as I introduced her to all my friends. She got along with them just fine as expected. I was sitting in my room when I got an e-mail from Dr.Kurahashi telling me that Yuuki's condition changed. I made my way to the hospital and went to Yuuki's room as the doc called me over. I went to Yuuki's side as I saw the real her in her entirety. A small girl sickly pale with short brown hair, circles around her closed eyes from prolonged use of the VR device.
Kurahashi:Thank goodness.You made it.About forty minutes ago, her heart stopped. But,only for a moment. We gotta go on with defibrillation and meds,but if it-
Y/N:I know.....
Kurahashi glanced at me before giving me a stoic nod.
Kurahashi: I see.....We've all been stunned by how long Yuuki's been managing to hang in there. We should let her get some rest now.
Yuuki slightly opened her eyes as she tried to mover her right arm.
Kurahashi:Take her hand. It's ok. That's what she wants.
I gently took her hand as Yuuki moved her lips but couldn't talk.
Y/N: Doc, she wants to use the Medicuboid.
Kurahashi: But....well..wouldn't she want to spend her last moments here?
Y/N: No. She wants to go in,one last time. Please,let her use it.
Kurahashi stood there for a minute before nodding as he placed the Medicuboid on her
head.
Kurahashi:It's gonna take a minute to boot up.Then what?
Y/N: I'm gonna use the Amusphere in the next room.
In ALO
I flew to the island where we first met as Yuuki stood at the large tree. She turned around and faced me.
Yuuki: Thanks,Y/N. I'm glad I got to see you again,because I got something for ya. I can't believe I almost forgot about it.
Maverick: What is it?
Yuuki walked over and handed me a scroll before collapsing as I quickly caught her.
Yuuki: That's weird....I feel so weak all of the sudden...And i'm not in any pain or anything,though.....
Maverick:........
Yuuki:Listen Y/N, I gave you my original sword skill.
Maverick:I...... don't think I can accept that.
Yuuki: It's fine, I want you to have it.
Maverick: I........
Yuuki: Please.....for me?
I opened and accepted the trade.
Yuuki: I gave it a cool name, "Mother's Rosario." I.....It'll keep you safe...when you need it.
Maverick:I-I'll put it to good use......
Yuuki:Thank you......
Maverick: You're special to me Yuuki. You know that?
Yuuki: Hehe,i'm glad. You know,this whole time i've thought, if I was born to die, What the heck is the point of me ever being born? I never made anything, or gave anything to anyone. All I did was waste drugs and stay in that machine. And,cause trouble for everyone..If all I get to do is suffer..and disappear in the end,it'd be better to just disappear right now. I used to always think,why am I alive? Why'd I stick around for this long? And you know what? After all this time, I think I know why now. I might not have done much...but i'm glad I got to live. Because after everything, these last few moments, are the best ever. I got to end my journey....in the arms of someone I love.
Maverick:I promise Yuuki,we will meet again,i'll fight the odds to see your face again.
I gazed into Yuuki's eyes as she began to cry.
Maverick:......
Yuuki:I love you, Y/N.
I closed the distance between our faces and passionately kissed Yuuki.

I gave this life everything I had.I was alive.And this warmth,it felt so nice.My eyes are starting to feel tired.

I walked out of the room and saw her. The flatline noise seemed almost deafening as I sped out the room. I didn't know where I was going but I didn't care....I found a spot on the top floor overlooking the city. I sat down and stared at the lights below. I sniffed once and again. Tears began to drop from my face as my breathing became shaky. I covered my face with my hands and began to quietly sob. I didn't want to believe that it was gonna happen. Every moment I spent with her, I always knew what was gonna happen. But part of me always hoped I'd.....see her happy. Her burden lifted. Free to live and love as she pleased....
Nurse:Excuse me?
Y/N:Huh?
Nurse:You're Y/N L/N right?
Y/N:Y-Yes....?
Nurse:Come with me please.
Y/N:?
