Floor 35:Lost Forest
I was walking in the woods with Kirito while talking with them.
Maverick:So....do we have any reason to be walking in the forest?
Kirito:What?You don't like to take walks in the forest?
Maverick:Not necessarily,i'm more of a city person.
I looked over and saw a girl about to be killed by 3 ogre things.
Maverick:Oh look,a girl about to be killed.
Kirito:Wait what?!
Silica Pov:
This was it.My dragon Pina died and the three enemies were closing in.Then they were sliced in half and disappeared.I looked and saw someone with h/l h/c hair and e/c eyes and a mask covering his face.I was in awe until he snapped me out of it.
Silica:Oh w-what?
Maverick:I said could you stop staring at me it's creepy!
........
I pulled down my mask while Kirito ran up to us.
Kirito:Man how are you so fast I literally blinked and you were way over here.
Maverick:My "boots of haste"boosts agility and it's a exotic set so it gives me extra attributes.
Kirito:I need to upgrade my gear.....
Maverick:Anyways, moving on, what's with the feather little girl?
Silica:It's Pina....my best friend.
Maverick:Oh,So you're a beast tamer?Hm,never seen one before,I almost thought they didn't exist.Anyways,why were you in the forest alone?
Silica:I left my previous party since there was a person who I couldn't stand but I was stupid to think I could make it through the forest on my own.Thank you saving me.You did what you could.
Kirito:Hey,that feather.Check to see if it has an item attached to it.
She looked at the feather and saw a item named Pina's Heart and started to cry.
Kirito:Hey,don't cry.That means Pina's heart's is still here,there's a chance you can revive it.
Her eyes shot up with happiness.
Silica:No way!Really?
Maverick:Oh yeah!You're talking about the flower in the field dungeon called the Hill of Memories on the Southside of floor 47.
Kirito:Yeah, they say the flower can revive familiars.
Silica:Floor 47 huh?I'm a bit under leveled do you think you can get it for me?
Kirito:We'd love to but the thing is the flower doesn't bloom unless the familiar's master is there.
Maverick:I swear,everything doesn't spawn unless you have a certain something with you.That's probably one of shittiest game design choices in this game next to skills like hearing,detective,detection,like are we playing an MMORPG?Or are we playing goddamn Dungeons and Dragons?I feel like this game hates solo players.
Silica:It's fine really,I just need to raise my level and then someday I could....
Maverick:The item only works three days after death.
Silica:No way....It's all my fault.I'm so sorry,Pina....
I knelt down beside her and rubbed her head.
Maverick:Hey,chin up girlie.Here,this equipment should help you level up faster.Also,since I have some uh......."business" on that floor, I'll tag along with you.So don't start crying again okay?
She looked up at me and blushed before smiling and nodding.
Silica:But why would you do this for me?
Maverick:Got nothing better to do and since Kirito is a white knight,I get dragged along.
Kirito:What?!I'm no White Knight!
Maverick:Oh sorry,"Black"Knight, my apologies Edgelord.
Kirito:I'm not edgy!
Maverick:No,you're pretty edgy.
Kirito:Shut up!
Silica began to laugh hearing us or me joke around.
Silica:Thank you guys.I really appreciate it.
Kirito:Yeah....No problem.But,can I honest with you?
Silica:?
Kirito:Listen,the reason i'm helping you is because you look like my little sister.
Maverick:You have a sister?
Kirito:Yeah.
Maverick:Is she hot?
Kirito:Wha?!Dude!

Maverick:Farming.......lots and lots of farming.

Maverick:Anyways,since we're gonna be working together we should introduce ourselves i'm Maverick.
Kirito:And I'm Kirito.
Silica:It's nice to meet you both,my names Silica.
Floor 35
We were walking in the village until some guys called out to Silica and walked up to us.
Guy2:It took you a long time to get back.We were getting worried.
Silica:Um.....
Guy1:You wanna team up with us?!We'll take you wherever you want to go.
Silica:That's really nice of you to offer,but.....Well I sorta already decided to party up with these guys.
Guy:Oh okay......
Silica:Sorry,I'll see you later,Bye!
We were walking away and Silica kinda had a guilty look on her face.
Silica:I didn't mean to put you guys on the spot like that.
Maverick:No worries,you popular or something?Those guys seemed really happy to see you.Maybe a little too happy.....
Silica:No,They don't take me seriously.They want me to be their mascot.Maybe their right.They call me the Dragon Tamer,and I guess.....it went to my head.
Maverick:Ah,fame gets to most people so don't worry about it.Listen, if Pina is your best friend,how about I be your best friend for now?
I rubbed her head and she smiled.
Silica:*giggle*Okay.Do you guys live around here?
Kirito:No,we're on floor 50.It's kinda far,so I was thinking of getting a room tonight.
Silica:If you stay.I'll take you out for some cheesecake.It's really good here.
???:Well,if it isn't Silica!
Some girl with a halberd and red hair with part of it covering her right eye walked up to us.As a honest man of standards........This girl is seriously good looking.
Rosalia:Wow.You made it out of the forest alive.Good for you,girl.
I looked at Silica and noticed she was looking down with a sad look on her face.
Maverick:You okay?
Silica:Y-yeah,i'm fine.
Rosalia:Hang on.What happened to your little friend the lizard.Did he run away?
Silica:Pina died saving me.But,I'm gonna get Pina back!
Rosalia:Really?I guess you'll be heading for the Hill of Memories then.I wonder if you'll be able to clear it at your level.
Maverick:She will,it ain't that difficult of a dungeon.
Rosalia:Oh god,this girl seduced two more players....
Maverick:Seduce me?No offense to Silica but she couldn't seduce anyone if she tried.
Rosalia:Whatever,I know the dungeon is not that difficult but you don't look like much.
Rosalia glanced over at Kirito.
Kirito:Well that's rude.
Rosalia:But you on the other hand.....
Rosalia brought her gaze to me and a seductive smile grew on her face.
Rosalia:How about you join my party?I could use your help with something.
Silica:What?!
Maverick:Me?Didn't you say that I was seduced by Silica?
Rosalia:You said it yourself,did you not?That Silica can't seduce anyone.If that's the case then it should be no problem with you joining my party.You look powerful and that's exactly what I need for my team.
Rosalia pressed her chest against my arm feeling the supple softness of her bosom.
Rosalia:what do you say?
I looked at Kirito and he gave me a nod.
Maverick:Sure, I got nothing better to do.
Silica:WAIT WHAT?!!!I thought you were gonna help me!
Maverick:Well I was,but if she's going dungeon crawling then I wouldn't wanna miss out on some rare loot.I mean,do you know how much of a hassle some of these dungeons are playing solo?
Rosalia:Oh,don't be sad Silica because I stole your friend.Look on the bright side, you still have your other friend.Anyways,boy,let's go I want to talk about some private stuff.
Maverick:Uh,sure I guess.
I walked off with Rosalia.

Silica:Why did Maverick leave us?!He...he said he was gonna be my best friend.
Kirito:He still is.
Silica:Huh?
Kirito:One thing you should know about Maverick is that most of the things he says,he means it.
Silica:How do you know that?
My thoughts came back to when Maverick helped me get over Sachi's death.To live on with a purpose.
Kirito:He.....helped me through a really bad time that I was going through.He's the best friend i've ever had and I think he could be yours too.
Silica:Okay,if you say so.
Kirito:Anyways,take a look at this.
I showed Silica my Mirage Sphere as she looked in slight awe.
Silica:What is it?
Kirito:It's a mirage sphere.
I pulled up floor 47 while Silica sat there.
Silica:It's pretty.
Kirito:This is the town area of Floor 47.And that's the Hill of Memories.I was thinking if we take this route,we can....hm?
Silica:What's wrong?
Kirito:Shh,who's there?!
???:Pizza delivery!
Kirito:Hehe.....
I walked over and opened the door to Maverick standing there with a cheeky grin on his face.
Kirito:Man,you scared me for a second I thought you were an eavesdropper.
Maverick:If someone get's caught eavesdropping then there pretty bad at espionage.Gotta channel that inner Sam Fisher or Solid Snake.
Silica:Why are you even here?Shouldn't you be with Rosalia?
Maverick:I was,but I finally got some free time to come see how you were doing.
Silica:We don't need you to come check on us!
Maverick:What's with the attitude?
Silica:I don't know,probably the fact that you left us!
Maverick:Geez,you're still mad about that?
Silica:Yes!How could you just leave when your supposed to be my best friend?!
Maverick:Um,because I can?
Silica:All of what you said was a lie wasn't it?!I can't believe I trusted someone like you!
Maverick:For crying out loud,get over it.See,this is why little kids shouldn't be playing mature games.
Silica jumped up from her seat and threw a punch at Maverick who caught her small fist in his hand.Silica seemed to have a slight face of fear thinking that Maverick would retaliate but Maverick dropped her fist and pulled up his mask.
Maverick:Guess I'll head out.I can see I'm not wanted.
Maverick looked down and then started to walk away as he closed the door behind him.
Silica:Kirito,I....
Kirito:I think we should just prepare for tomorrow so get some sleep.
Silica:O-oh ok.
I left her room and went back to mine and went to sleep.
......
I went into another inn and opened the door to my room to see Rosalia sitting there.
Rosalia:So what'd you find out?
I pulled out my map and sat next to her to show her.
Maverick:They're gonna take this route and come back the same way. I think the best course of attack is to wait until this bridge right.....here.You can position your squad to set up behind the trees over here.
Rosalia:Thank you dear,you were a great help.When we get their items I'll let you have a decent share.
Maverick:Uh-huh.Sounds good.
I switched into my casual/night clothes and laid back on my bed letting out a sigh.
Rosalia:Something wrong?
Maverick:Tired.I've been dungeon crawling all day.
I felt something crawl on top of me as I opened my eyes to see Rosalia with her crimson hair fully let down and flowing freely.She was in some lingerie as she had that signature smirk.
Rosalia:You know,you're quite cute.
Maverick:Flattering.Thanks.
Rosalia:How about I...warm up your bed with you?
Maverick:Well....I ain't gonna complain.

Floor 47:Floria
I was sitting behind a tree waiting for Kirito and Silica to come back until I finally heard them.
Maverick:*sigh*It took them forever to get back.
I watched from behind my tree as Rosalia was speaking to Kirito and Silica.I wasn't really listening until Kirito started talking about his true intentions.
Kirito:See,I've been looking for you Rosalia.
Rosalia:What are you talking about?
Kirito:Remember ten days ago,you attacked a guild called the Silver Flags?Their leader survived,four didn't.
Rosalia:Oh,the losers with no money.
Kirito:Their leader went back and forth,from the warp-point to the front lines,morning to night.And with tears in his eyes,he begged everyone he met to avenge his dead friends.But he didn't want you killed.No,he wanted you to go prison.Do you have any idea how he felt?
Rosalia:Can't say I do.Only idiots take this seriously.So,what if we kill someone here?There's no proof,dying here means you're dead IRL?Anyways,it's time you started worrying about yourselves.
Rosalia snapped her fingers and multiple guys came from behind the trees.I was the last one to come from behind the trees and I walked right next to Rosalia.
Silica:W-what?!
Rosalia:Oh you must be hurt knowing that your friend betrayed you for me.
Kirito:You bastard!After all we went through,you do this!
Maverick:Hey,come on it's been pretty fun.
Silica:Kirito,there's too many of them.We should get out of here.
Kirito:No,it's okay.You'll be safe if you stay here.Keep the crystal handy till I say so.
Silica:Kay,but....Kirito!
Guy:Kirito?
Guy:Dressed in black...One handed...No shield....Holy crap!It's the Black Swordsman!Rosalia that guy!He the one who plays with a duo on the front lines!He's with the Assault Team!
Silica:No way,he is?!
Rosalia:Why would someone from the Assault Team be all the way down here?Go on!Take him out!And take everything he owns!
Guy:Die!
The 7 henchmen rushed Kirito and kept slashing him as he stood there.
I watched as his health barely went down then regenerated.
Rosalia:What the hell,you idiots?!Kill him already!
Maverick:400 in 10 seconds,give or take.That's about the damage you guys can inflict on him.
Rosalia:How's that possible?!
Maverick:Well, you see Kirito is level 78,he's got 14,500HP.His battle-healing regenerative passive champion skill heals 600 HP every 10 seconds.You could stand there all day and get nowhere.To be honest,this game has no balance factor like other MMORPGs.
Guy:That's not possible!
Maverick:Oh believe me it is,you see in most MMORPGs are as balanced as they can be.Unfortunately,this isn't one of those games.Now Kirito,you can send all these people to jail but i'm gonna have to decline you taking Rosalia.
Kirito:Wait why?!
Maverick:Because if you put her in prison then it doesn't solve anything instead you gotta make them a better person with a little intervention.
Rosalia:What are you talking about?!And how do you know so much about him?!
Maverick:Well Rosalia, i've been traveling with Kirito since we were first trapped in this death game and the fact you forgot that he was a duo on the front lines.Also you never asked my name so I'll give it to you.The names...Maverick.
The henchmen were in even more fear.
Guy:M-Maverick?
Rosalia:What is it?!
Guy:He's one of the most infamous players in SAO.He's the beater and single handedly killed 30 Laughing Coffin players and has the highest bounty in SAO!He's known for his unpredictability and unorthodox methods which solidifies his gamertag.
Maverick:That's right,and I wouldn't try attacking me.I'm level 80 with 26,000 HP.
Rosalia:S-so what do want with me?Y-you're not gonna kill me are you?
Maverick:I might.After all.....
Rosalia froze in fear as the tip of my sword was piercing her stomach.
Maverick:It's only a game,right?No one dies in real life if you die in the game, right?Or,do you want to test that theory yourself?
Rosalia dropped her weapon hearing the wood and metal clang against the stone ground.
Maverick:Now,you're going to be a good little girl and give everyone their stuff back and give up half of your col to more deserving people.
Rosalia:F-fine you win.
I retracted my blade and placed my arm around Rosalia.
Maverick:Take care of the rest of them for me,will ya Kirito?

Kirito went and took the guys to prison while Maverick made Rosalia give everything she stole back to the players and made her disband her guild.So now it was just me and Maverick
Silica:Why did do that?Why did you go with Rosalia?I know it was an act but you could've easily took them down if you stayed with us.
Maverick:Sorry bout that.It was the perfect opportunity to get on the inside.
Silica:You knew she was gonna attack us?
Maverick:Numa flowers are pretty rare so it was pretty obvious.
Silica:You did it for me?
Maverick:Remember what I said?I said I was gonna be you're best friend and friends protect each other no matter what.
I couldn't believe what he was saying he did all that for me?How could I've been so stupid? I was so hostile towards him and yet he still did all this for me.Tears started running down my face and I hugged him which caught him by surprise.
Maverick:S-Silica?!
Silica:I'm sorry Maverck!I'm sorry I didn't trust you!
I felt his one of his arms wrap around my back and the other was gently petted my head as I pushed my head into his chest.The hug lasted for awhile until I pulled back.
Silica:So you're the infamous "Maverick".
Maverick:Yeah, I didn't want to tell you because I don't how'd you react if you were partied up with the most infamous player.
Silica:It's fine, since you don't seem like a bad person.But,do you really have to go?
Maverick:Yep.Those floor bosses aren't gonna defeat themselves.The front lines and a certain hot-headed lady is gonna be mad if I use anymore break days.
Silica:I'll be sure to cheer you on!I promise!
Maverick:Thanks.I'm gonna head out now.Take care, you hear?
Silica:Yeah!See you!
Maverick waved and left the room as I dripped the flower on Pina's heart.Pina,when you get back,I'll have lots of stuff to tell you about.About the amazing adventure I had.And about this one day when I got my very own big brother.
