You had been travelling for the past few days. The vehicle you lay in now running on fumes. You were down to your last drop of water too.
"We're going to have to find somewhere to stop. Before we break down in the middle of nowhere. We can't leave ourselves exposed." Warren turned back from her position at the wheel to give Murphy a look.
"Oh, yeah. Important cargo." Murphy rolled his eyes, slinking further back in to the leather seat.
You almost scoffed from your position in the back seat beside Addy, turning back to glance out of the back window of the truck you were in. 10K hadn't moved since you had started off early that morning. He was standing, leaning against the roof of the car, firearm pointed in case of any surprises. You felt yourself trying to get a better look to see if you could make out his face.
Addy nudged you in the side knowingly which broke you out of your daze as you turned to face the redhead. "Do you want me to swap places?" she laughed as your face turned a light hue of red.
"Very funny, Addy."
Warren pulled the truck towards a secluded dirt road which was covered by towering trees and bushes. 10K stepped back in to the bed of the truck as Warren drove through as the branches hit the roof of the truck. You turned once more to look in to the bed of the truck and this time made eye contact with the dark haired boy, who gave you a genuine smile which you couldn't help but reciprocate.
"Okay, Vasquez and I will go in the front." Warren pulled out a small handgun as she opened the driver side door, "(Y/N), Addy, go round the back and see if there are any Puppies and Kittens lurking. Doc, 10K. Stay out front in case we need back up, and make sure the package doesn't go running off."
"I'm right here you know?" Murphy scoffed indignantly, crossing his arms.
You pulled up the large knife you kept with you at all times and began to walk around the back of the old house, Addy took the left side and you the right. You tiptoed silently, on high alert, the knife in your hand held almost above you, ready to strike. You were so focused on making it around the building and looking inside its windows you didn't even notice a Z approach from your left as it got closer and closer. You heard the telltale wail and as you turned, before it even had the chance to touch you it fell back towards the floor. A round circle indented across its forehead, the shot so clean there was barely any blood splatter. You turned around in shock to see 10K standing with his rifle still aimed, looking through the view finder.
"I think that must be the 1,001 time you've saved my life." You smiled appreciatively.
"Maybe I'll be known as 10K for another reason then." He smiled back.
"Hopefully I'll be able to protect myself by then," You laughed, "Or at least by 9,999."
He smiled at you, and you almost felt your insides back flip. You had been ignoring the butterflies that swooped inside you since you'd met this mysterious boy but ever since you'd known him it had been escalating. He showed no signs whatsoever of liking you in the same way so you kept it to yourself. The only person you had told, to keep your sanity, was Addy.
"Come on, guys. Warren said it's all clear." Addy's head poked around the corner of the house as she motioned for the two of you to follow her inside.

The house was actually quite nice inside, it was moderately clean for being three years in to the zombie apocalypse, just a bit dusty. The team had all gone upstairs each choosing their own bedrooms. Murphy had got in to a fight with Warren over which room he felt he deserved which meant 10K and you would be left with either the final remaining bedroom or the coach.
"I don't mind taking the coach, you can have the bed." 10K smiled at you, you couldn't help but smile back. You were both sitting beside each other and now that you were both alone together you could really appreciate his facial features, his bright eyes and his defined jaw.
"It's only fair you get the bed, plus this coach is kind of comfy, don't you think?" You were sitting so close to each other on the couch now you weren't sure whether it was your mind or your body telling you to lean forward until it was too late and you had pressed your lips against his in a chaste kiss.
Feeling no response from the sniper you pulled back, to see his eyes wide like a deer. You blushed a deep crimson.
"10K, Sorry I don't know what came over me. I just uh-" You weren't even sure where to start.
I think I've been madly in love with you since we first met? That didn't sound creepy at all.
"I just really like you, and I thought, uhm. You might like me. Sorry, it won't happen again."
"I didn't mind (Y/N)." 10K whispered, "I'm just shocked it happened really."
"Why?" You covered your face in your hand.
"Cause I like you too, a lot actually." 10K blushed, "The only reason I never told you is because I didn't think you would like me.." 10K trailed off, looking down, "I mean, back when I was in high school, girls like you would never look at a guy like me."
"Girls like me wouldn't like a guy like you? What do you even mean?"
"I mean, like." 10K took in a deep breath. "Pretty girls, like you. I wasn't exactly popular in high school."
"None of that really matters now, does it?" You smiled.
"I guess not," 10K smiled back, and this time took you by surprise by leaning forward and pulling you in to a soft kiss. His hand came up to the back of your neck to pull you in closer as the kiss intensified, you felt your body move forward as if it had a mind of its own and you ended up straddling 10K, your arms coming up around his neck. You licked his lips expectantly as he opened them slightly, allowing your tongue to explore the new territory, you moaned slightly in to the kiss as you moved your hands down from his neck to his chest, reaching the bottom of his black vest, you dipped your hands underneath to feel the expanse of his body. 10K's hands held your wrists as he stopped your advances. He must have seen the look of hurt that flashed against your features because he quickly apologised.
"It's just- not here." He motioned for you to stand, and when you did he took your hand in his and lead you upstairs. Picking up his rifle along the way, obviously safety first. He opened a door which lead in to a rather plain looking bedroom. There was a bed, which was pretty much all you cared about at this current time and no quicker had 10K closed the door, you had pushed him up against it and resumed your making out.
This time 10K had no objections to you pulling his shirt above his head, his goggles falling off as you pulled so frantically. 10K's fingers shook slightly as they danced around the hem of your shirt before you grinned up at him and pulled it up over your head yourself, leaving you in just a plain black bra and being so thankful in your head that it was a marginally clean one.
God, I hope I don't smell.
You were pulled out of your thoughts as 10K began to place soft kisses along your jaw and then down to your neck, latching on to the soft skin there and sucking gently. You began to wonder how his mouth would feel on other parts of your body and you involuntarily rubbed your legs together, hoping to create some sort of friction or relief.
You felt 10K attempt to undo your bra clasp and moved your hands round to your back to help him, undoing it with one hand. You allowed the restrictive garment to fall to the floor and heard 10K's breath hitch as he took the sight of your naked upper-half in.
"You're so beautiful." He whispered as he pulled you back in to another passionate kiss, you took one of his hands in your own and placed it on your breasts. Moving it with your own hand and showing him exactly what you liked, as he got the message you moved your hand away and moved your concentration to the bulge that had formed in 10K's trousers and began to undo his belt. Popping the button and pulling at them sloppily, trying to get them down his skinny legs. He stepped out of his shoes so he could remove his trousers completely, before leading you back towards the bed. You plopped down on to the mattress while 10K stood standing above you. You smiled up at him while your hand came out to stroke the hard bulge in his underwear softly. 10K's body jerked at the feeling and his eyes snapped shut.
"Stop." He whispered, and this once more made you feel so insecure. Why did he want you to stop?
"Huh?" You pulled away and looked up at him confused.
"I just- I've never-" He tried to get out but the words were coming out jumbled. He once more took a deep breath before continuing. "I've never done this before, so I don't want to finish early and ruin this for you. I want it to be special" He looked around the room, "Well as special as it can be under the circumstances."
You stood up, this time unbuckling your belt and shimmying out of your jeans before looking up in to 10K's eyes.
"Anything I do with you will be special, Tommy. No matter what." 10K grinned at the use of his real name before pushing you back on to the bed, walking back over to his fallen trousers he pulled something out of the pocket. You recognised the foil wrapper.
"You been stocking up for the apocalypse?" You laughed as he walked back over to join you on the bed.
"Actually, Addy gave them to me." 10K blushed. You made a mental note to thank your best friend later as you pulled the dark haired boy in to another kiss.
"Do you want me to help you put it on?" You gestured to the condom packet. 10K just shook his head in response, tearing the packet open and sliding the latex on to his stiff member, before rejoining you on the bed, this time hovering over you silently.
"Are you sure?" He whispered.
"I've never been so sure of anything in my life," You smiled before placing your hand on he back of his neck and pulling him down in to another deep kiss.
10K used his right hand to guide his member to your opening, you felt him take a deep breath against your lips before he pushed in slowly. 10K received the message loud and clear as he started a slow and steady pace, not once breaking eye contact with you.
