Chapter 34
DREW
I came out the house and went on my way to work. Work, as in the office. On my way, I stopped to pick up some coffee. I was about to step into my car, when some men in black started to approach me. They hadn't realized that I noticed them. I sighed. They were about to jump me. Are you serious right now?
"Niqq'hs, you really gon' try and jump me right now?" I exclaimed.
They froze in their places and then got their guns and pointed at me. I chuckled. I'm in the bitch mode right now. They do not want to do that.
"Give us everything! Your wallet, your phone and your car keys, everything!" They ordered.
These are minors. They are really gon' just stop and demand? Why not just take, if you really want it? I walked up to one and got in his face. I held the mouth of the gun and realized his hands were trembling. I was right, they are minors.
"I am around guns every day, lil' boy. Don't think this will scare me." I chuckled in his face and grabbed the gun from him.
The sh't wasn't even loaded. I laughed.
"This is just sad. You threatening people with not even one bullet. What if it was somebody else?" I threw the gun to his feet, " Go to school boy and you too, muffin head." I pointed to the other one.
I got in my car and drove left the two. I got to work and started my daily duties.
Later, Khali walked into my office. I scrunched my eyebrows together. Isn't she suppose to be at school? I got up and went over to her.
"What's wrong?" I looked at her with concerned eyes.
It was unusual to see her here at this time.
"Nothin'. Well, can we talk? Or is it a bad time?" she asked.
"Well, it's fifteen minutes before my lunch, so I guess I will just have to take an early lunch," I said, looking at my watch.
"Mr. Blake, why the early lunch?" Mr. Salvatore voiced behind me.
I was about to say something, but Khali beat me to it.
"Sir, if you would just lay off a bit, I really need him right now," Khali said.
Mr. Salvatore seemed to be in a trance.
"She's just a teenager, sir." I cleared up.
At the sound of that,
"Well, Drew, you can just take the day off, we are closing early today anyway. Plus, you seem a bit stressed," He said.
I chuckled. He was just really into Khali a while ago. I got my stuff and left with Khali.
While in the car,
"Who brought you down here?" I asked.
"Khalil," She simply replied.
"... Um, aren't you suppose to be at school?" I asked again.
"Nope, they are having some workshop," She simply answered again.
The air around us is really tense and we all know why.

We got our food and then Khali started talking,
"I wanted to talk because after we slept together, it hasn't been the same and I just wanted to know if everything is still cool between us, despite, whatever," She said.
I chuckled.
"Of course, Khali. Everything is cool. It's just Trey being Trey, right now," I assured her.
She smiled.
"Yesterday, Shaun, called the two of us over to his house, that is after lying, I don't know what he told Trey but he told me he wanted me to talk to Alecia before he killed her so I went and it didn't turn out so great. He acted as if I was a nuisance to him, as if, I shouldn't be around him, any at all and then he blamed me for every damn thing and I accepted it and also the fact that we are done for good," Khali said then sadly smiled at the end.
She was trying to let go. I sighed.
"Well, Khali, I think I am the one to blame. I should've just stayed away from teenagers, with my grown ass self." I chuckled.
Khali did a small laugh and smiled at me.
"Well, you're the best grown ass that I've ever come upon and I don't think I would want a next grown ass in my life otherwise from you," She said.
"Great cuz' no other grown ass is like me. So, otherwise from Trey, how is life?" I asked.
And that was it. Khali and I started having our normal conversations again.

TREY
I walked in the house and thank God Drew was gone to work. I went upstairs and changed into some basketball shorts and then went to the basketball court to shoot some hoops. Barefooted and shirtless.
While playing, I heard whispers. I looked around and there was no one, so I ignored it. I knew there were some ghosts in this damn house. I felt a presence behind me, so I turned around, to be faced with men in black. They grabbed me and I fought with all my might. Not today, please.
"What the f'k? Get your hands the hell off me!" I pushed and kicked away from them.
They surprisingly let go and then I looked up to see TFO. The hell they doing at my house?
"What did you do to Dequan?" one of them asked.
"Dequan? Man, I don't know the sh't you are talking about," I said getting up.
"Where's your brother?" the same one asked.
"Ion' know. At work or some sh't," I replied.
They then grabbed me and brought me to my living room and tied me to a chair.
"Why the hell are you guys doing this?" I asked.
I was being calm as sh't because low key I was pissed as f'k.
"We found our best worker, dead. Dequan. So we suspected it could be one of you lil' boys," Another one said.
"I don't even deal with that niqq'h no more, I didn't even know he was dead."
"Well, tell that to boss. C'mon," He said, jacking me up and pushing me into a car.
Damn, at least let me put on some clothes.

They pushed me in a room, and that is where I saw Shaun, Michael, Joey, Khalil and Jason.
"BOSS!" One yelled.
"I can't believe this sh't man." Michael sighed.
"Sh't messed up!" We said in unison.
The door opened and in came a small man. I could flick the little niqq'h.
"These are the boys?" the man asked in a small voice.
"Yea boss."
I'm sure we all raised an eyebrow.
"This yo boss?" we asked in unison.
"Yea, what? Got a problem?" He yelled in a squeaky voice.
I nearly died. Dis tew' much! We all looked at each other, and that was it for us to start laughing. Tears came to my eyes.
"They aint serious!" Jason exclaimed, dying.
BAM! A gun went off silencing us. Well, sh't.
"I wont hesitate to kill one of you," He said then walked out.
We looked at each other again but this time we held in our laughter. Are they serious? They are afraid of him? No wonder Trevan never took them serious.

DREW
Khali and I got home. My house, that is and saw everything disheveled.
"What the hell happened here?" Khali exclaimed.
I saw a note, I picked it up and it read, 'IF YOU ARE READING THIS, WE GOT YOUR BOYS.'
No one but the TFO.
As I was about to call boss, the door busted open. As quick as lightning, I took my gun out, pushing Khali behind me, but lowered it, when realized it was Trevan, Mike and Trevain.
"What the hell is going on?" Trevan yelled at me.
"How the hell I'm supposed to know?!" I yelled back.
