"When are you gonna mind your business?" I asked Tizzy as I got dressed for school, I was late as hell. But I didn't miss much, only first and second period.
"Never!" I rolled my eyes and put my scarf on my head to slick my hair down, "Everyone left, so we gotta leave now!"
"Fine, can we at least get food on the way?" I put on my slip in vans then grabbed my phone and school bag before following him out the room.
"Yea, whatchu want?" He responded to me, "I don't know, something good,"
"Okay," we got into his car then pulled off.

"Emoryese you're being called to the office!" The teacher told me, I sighed and got up from my seat. I packed my stuff up and headed to the front office.
I seen my brother sitting in a chair along with our mom, "What's going on?" I took a seat beside Tizzy and waited for someone to speak.
"Tizzy got into a fight," the principle said, "What does that gotta do with me?"
"Nothing Emory, they just wanted you involved cause we're siblings. Go back to class," Tizzy chimed in before getting up and leaving the office.
"Might as well dismiss me then, since I'm here," he nodded his head and handed me Tizzy's suspension slip before heading out.
"Who'd you fight?" I asked Tizzy as we were in his room, playing the game. "Some guy that was messing with this girl I like. She handled her shit but he wouldn't leave her alone, so I stepped in. Whooped him out in the hallway,"
"How many days?" I asked, "14,"
"Damn," he shrugged his shoulders, "Won't be home anyways,"
"Why?" He sighed. "You ask a lot of questions Emory," I rolled my eyes. "Anyways I'm staying with grandma for a few days,"

Von and I was in the studio, cooking up something new.
"Play that back," Von told the engineer, he nodded his head as Von was in the booth with his headphones on.
"Early mornin', wake up, I was yawnin' (Huh?)
'Round the crack of dawn and folksnem called me (What?)
They know that I'm comin', my drum hold a hundred (Grrah, grrah)
My car runnin', E-way hit a hundred (Vroom)
Pull up, got to dumpin' (Boom, boom, boom)
They was runnin', I hop back in my car, now the police comin' "
Von then took his headphones off and set them on the mic before stepping out the booth, as the music stopped. "That was hard," we dapped each other up.
"I'll mix and master this, and send y'all the final copy before uploading it," the engineer told Von and I.
"Aight, cool,"

"Did you say something to Ares?"
"When?"
"The other night," I rolled my eyes.
"No, she asked us how long we been together and I answered."
"She seemed bothered by that,"
"How? Why?"
"Because I was with you longer than her,"
"We was together since we was teenagers and in our mid twenties, clearly we have history and have some years on us. I don't know why it matters,"
"Me either,"
"Anything else?"
"Can we have a family dinner soon. Kennedy and the kids, and the twins?"
"Yea definitely, I'll call her too and set it up,"
"Aight, I'll talk to you later. Bye,"
"Bye,"

I set my phone down and picked up the remote to change the channel.

I slowly got out of Lennox's grasp before getting out of bed and leaving the room, I used the bathroom, washed my hands then headed downstairs to get a snack.
I got leftover crumb cake Lennox, made and paired it with some juice before heading upstairs.
Lennox was now sitting up, while tying his hair up. I got into bed and shared with him, "You busy tomorrow?"
"Maybe, why?" I answered, "I'm taking you out to lunch,"
"Okay," I set my plate on the bedside table along with my cup.
"You know I love you?" He said to me, "I know, I love you," he leaned in close to kiss me, as I kissed back.
He reached over to pull me close to him, I crawled over and began to straddle his waist not breaking the kiss.
I pulled away briefly, to look at him. He smiled and pulled me closer to him, don't know how close we could get. I'd be damnear in his skin if I could.
"Got any energy for me?" He asks me, "Yea I do," he smirked and laid down as I took my shirt off.
He did the same before he started to kiss me.
