It's been three weeks since I last talked to the boys. It's been miserable, but I knew I had to do without them. I trained extra hard, and I felt like I was getting stronger. It wasn't easy going about my day, because I keep bumping into either Dan or Shun. The last conversation between Shun and I was pretty weird..
"Shun.... Listen.... I'm sorry I lied...."
"You're a piece of shit for betraying us like that Celeste. And to think I cared about you.."
"You'll see when Mag Mel comes to take what he wants, I won't be there to save you guys. Forget I ever said anything...." I had bumped into his shoulder and stormed off. I hated that he held a grudge against me, just because I lied. And fuck Dan, he's an asshole. You know what? I want vengeance.....
"Hello, Kuso speaking?"
"I challenge you to a battle. Just you and me. No help from anyone whatsoever." I declared as I hung up. I admit, Dan is more of an experienced brawler than me, but I shouldnt have a problem winning since Ceberus has powers as great as Drago.
"Are you sure you wanna battle him? He and Drago are a pretty powerful team."
"Oh trust me my friend. I do. He'll see that I'm not a traitor. He'll see that I'm on their side."
"What about your feelings for him?"
"I don't know anymore, and frankly, I don't care. Let's just get ready for tomorrow's battle...."
The next day
I stood in the hallway leading to the stadium, Sellon and the girls behind me. I wasn't feeling nervous at all. In fact, the wait was killing me. I was going to obliterate Kuso.
"Are you sure you want to battle Dan? He's more of an experienced brawler than you, and he won't go easy on you." Soon was worried about me losing.
"Now Soon, let her do this. After all, if it is vengeance she seeks, then she shall receive it." Sellon placed her hand on my shoulder.
"Whatever you do, do not use the power in that pendant. Trust me, it will kill you faster than you can think it could. Now get out there and fight your best!" I walked out to the forest battlefield, even more eager to wipe the look off of his face.
"Coming in hot, is the fiery Celeste and her partner Ceberus." I stood on the platform as it raised me up. Here he comes....
"And now for the leader of the battle brawlers, Dan Kuso! Who will win, and who will leave defeated? Let the battle begin!!" Dan stood on the platform across from mine as it raised him up to my level.
"I'm shocked you even challenged me. Why, you traitor?" Ugh!!!
"I am not a traitor!! I'm on your side on this!!"
"Listen up everybody, this girl is a heartless traitor! She lied about who she was, and now is no longer one of the good guys! She's the enemy, just like her father!!!" The crowd roared, booing coming from left to right. I clenched my fist. He's doing this to spite me.....
"Enough! You're going down hard Daniel Kuso!!!" I set down a gate card, then Ceberus.

"I'll show you Drago and I are a force to be reckoned with!" He did the same, Drago coming face to face with Ceberus.
"Ceberus my friend, I don't wanna fight you! We don't have to do this just because the humans are having a fued!!!" Drago dodged Ceberus each time he attacked.
"Well then maybe Dan shouldn't have called her out like that in front of a large number of people!!" Ceberus growled.
"Don't fuck with me Dan!!! Ability activate! Darkus Fog!!!" As I said that, the fog thickened, Drago unable to see a thing.
"What's this?! Dan do something before we get destroyed!!!" Drago flew in the air, inspecting the fog.
"I can't see through this fog!!! I can't do anything!!" Dan panicked.
"Peek a boo!!!" Ceberus came from behind Drago, slashing him in the back. Drago cried out in pain, and I laughed.
"What's so funny Celeste?!" Ooh, Dan was getting angry.
"Awe, look at you tremble. You're gonna burst a blood vessel cause your almighty Bakugan is getting his ass beat by a demon dog!" I stuck my tongue out, pointing my index finger at him. This battle was going to be interesting.
"That's it! Ability activate! Ragnarok buster!!!" And the battle kept going for what seemed like forever.
"I forget that both of our bakugan are powerful..... But there could be only one winner, and that's going to be me and Drago." Both of us were only one more battle away from losing.
"Who is gonna falter? Who is gonna conquer? Better never count me out!" I threw Ceb out once more, and at the same time, Drago collided with him, causing an explosion.
"Ah!" I held on to the edge of the platform. Looking down, my eyes widened. I was gonna fall eight feet from the ground!
"Ceberus, stop fighting that overgrown lizard and come help me before I fall!!!" My fingers slipped and I started to rapidly fall.
"Celeste hold on!!" Ceberus ran to my aid, and I landed on his soft furry back.
"Are you alright Princess?" I stood up and held on to his head(the middle one) as he helped me back on the platform.
"Wait, why'd you call me princess?" That was strange...
"Nothing. Are you ready to finish this fight?" Oh right! I forgot I was battling Dan! I nodded.
"Celeste are you alright?!" Drago asked. It was good to know he wanted to know if I was okay, but he's still the enemy.
"Shut up Dragonoid! We wouldn't be here if your human hadn't shut her out!" Ceberus snapped. I stared at my necklace. The power in the pendant could help me win this battle. Suddenly, Dan and I started getting headaches. Mag Mel!!
"Celeste no!!!" Sellon and Anubias cried, and took my hand off the pendant.
"Drago now! Let's finish this!!!" Dan cued Drago to end the battle.
"The winner is Dan!!!" No..... I lost... I sat on the bench in the waiting room, holding my head in my hands.
"I told you not to use the power, and you were lucky we stopped you before you killed us all." Sellon scoffed. I looked up at her.
"I could have destroyed Dan and his Bakugan if you hadn't stopped me!!" I looked down at a little girl who looked about six years old. I relaxed and took a good look at her. She had short blonde hair, blue eyes like mine, and she wore a red party dress.
"I don't care what they say. I still look up to you Miss Ceweste. You and Ceb are a great team." I squatted in front of her.
"Thanks kid.... I wish more people would say the same thing... Really, that means a lot for a person who lied to her only friends...." I looked away from her.
"Don't be sad. I'll always support you." She gave me a tight hug, and I couldn't help but to hug her back as I cried. Kids man.....
"Tiffany, is it?" Sellon smiled.
"Yes Miss Sellon." The little girl giggled.
"Well Tiffany, you better run along before you alcoholic mother finds you." Sellon warned.
"Don't worry. She drank too much juice to realize I'm even gone. When I grow up, I wanna be a juice drinker just like mommy! She said happily as she skipped away. Honey no! I chuckled to myself.
