The spirit of an eagle flew out of the hole in the bathroom floor. Next came Harry, carrying both his sister and the unconscious Weasley girl.

"I do love to fly," Harry smiled as he put his sister down but kept the redhead over his shoulder.

"Makes me want to have a power-swap with you," Melody giggled. "Flying would be so much fun. I can't do that with my powers."

"Flying is a very freeing feeling," Harry smiled. "But being on a broom is nothing compared to when I channel a bird."

"Unless you're channeling a penguin or chicken," Melody giggled.

"I only would channel a penguin if I have to deal with cold water," Harry says.

Harry hissed at the passageway again, sealing the chamber back up. They would have Olivia send over some mystic soul animal mages over the summer to get the basilisk to a preserve for magical creatures. It was definitely a better option than leaving it in a school where who knows what might happen if the paranoid people that were the British Ministry of Magic learn that there is a seventy-foot-long dangerous snake underneath the school.

It would not be the hardest thing in the world to do. When Olivia was younger, before her magic was strong enough to open time portals, she was able to open teleportation portals. She could still do that even though she had gotten so used to opening to different places in time instead of just places. So she could easily open a portal to the chamber and get the basilisk anywhere she wanted.

The brother and sister made their way through the school and to the hospital wing. Harry was just glad he didn't have to channel a gorilla or something in order to carry the redhead on his shoulder. She was pretty light, but that made sense since she was only eleven.

Melody carried the destroyed diary with her in order to provide some evidence of their little adventure. They were sure that once Dumbledore was back, he might know what type of wand-user spell could have been used to create such a horrible object.

When they got to the hospital wing, they were immediately met with the eyes of more than just Madam Pomfrey.

"Ginny!"

It was Mrs. Weasley, who had been sitting crying in front of the fire inside of the healer's office. She leapt to her feet, closely followed by Mr. Weasley, and both of them flung themselves on their daughter. Harry and Melody, however, were looking past them. Professor Dumbledore was standing by the mantelpiece, beaming, next to Professor McGonagall, who was taking great, steadying gasps, clutching her chest. Fawkes, who neither twin could figure out why was there, went whooshing past Harry's ear and settled on Dumbledore's shoulder.

But what really made the twins worry was when they also saw Olivia standing by Krinos' bed. If there was one thing scarier than a seventy-foot basilisk, it was their cousin when she got angry. If you do not believe them, ask any demon that has ever come across her. Well, you can't. None have survived to say they have.

Harry and Melody then suddenly found themselves being swept into Mrs.Weasley's tight embrace.

"You saved her! You saved her! How did you do it," she fired off.

But before anything else could happen, the sudden hug had made the two's instincts kick in. Sudden grabs with mystic souls usually meant a demon trying to kidnap them. Their amulets glowed as they escaped the grasp in their own ways. Melody vanished in a swirl of musical notes and reappeared next to her cousin. Harry channeled a snake and used its natural slipperiness to slip from her grasp.

"Never grab my cousins like that again," Olivia warned as the two stood on either side of her.

Harry placed the still unconscious Ginny onto a bed to be taken care of my Madam Pomfrey.
