Reversing the Snap

"Alright, the glove is ready", Rocket said. "Question is, who's gonna snap their freakin fingers?"

"I'll do it", Thor said.

"Excuse me?" Tony asked.

"It's okay", Thor said. Sounds of disagreement came out of everyone as we stopped Uncle Thor from walking towards the New Infinity Gauntlet.

"Thor, just wait. We haven't decided who's gonna put it on yet", Steve said.

"I'm sorry. What, we're just sitting around waiting for the right opportunity?" Thor asks.

"We should at least discuss it", Scott said. I nodded in agreement.

"Look, sitting here, staring at that thing is not gonna bring everybody back. I'm the strongest Avenger, okay?" Thor said. I rolled my eyes. "So this responsibility falls upon me".

Tony tries to stop Thor from talking. Then, he shushed him which made me laugh. "Stop it! Just let me", Thor said. "Just let me do it. Just let me do something good. Something right".

"Look, it's not just the fact that that glove is channeling enough energy to light up a continent. I'm telling you. You're in no condition", Tony said.

"What do you think is coursing through my veins right now", Uncle Thor asked.

"Cheez Whiz?" Rhodey guessed.

"Alcohol?" I guessed.

"Lightning", Thor said.

"Lightning won't help you, Uncle", I said. "Let me do it. You saw what those did to Thanos. It almost killed him. I have the power of the six infinity stones. If I snap my fingers, I won't die".

"But it will make you nauseous. Zee, those stones will give you your full strength. We want you to save your strength. It has to be someone else",Tony said.

"It's gotta be me", Bruce said as he walks toward the gauntlet.

"How do we know you'll survive?" I asked.

"We don't, but the radiation is mostly gamma. It's like I was made for this",Bruce said.

Bruce held the gauntlet. This is it. "Good to go, yeah?" Tony asked.

"Let's do it", Bruce said.

"Okay, remember, everyone Thanos snapped away five years ago, you're just bringing them back to now, today. Don't change anything from the last five years", Tony said.

"Got it", Bruce said.

Rhodey and Scott put on their helmet. Rocket puts on his goggles. Tony activated a shield, protecting him and Clint. I created a force field.

Bruce puts on the Infinity Gauntlet. Energy flows up his arm as he screams in pain.

"Take it off! Take it off!" Thor shouted.

"No, wait", Steve said. "Bruce, are you okay?"

Bruce doesn't say anything. "Talk to me, Banner", Tony said.

Bruce continues shouting in pain, but he finally spoke. "I'm good. I'm okay". I sighed in relief. Bruce yells in pain as he raises his hand and finally snapped his fingers. Bruce fell to the ground as the gauntlet slipped off his hand.

"Bruce!" Steve shouted.

Clint kicked the gauntlet away from Bruce. "Don't move him", Tony said. Bruce held Steve's arm. Tony sprayed Bruce's arm. I kneeled down next to Thor and Steve. I put my hand on Bruce's head. "It's okay, Bruce", I said.

"Did it work?" Bruce asked.

"I-I'm not sure", I said. Scott walked towards the windows. Clint's phone started ringing.

Steve looked at something that's behind me. He looks at me and smiled. I turned around to see my father, Loki. I got up. I walked towards him.

"Papa?" I asked.

"Zia", Loki said. I wrapped my arms around him and cried into his chest. I looked up at him. He wiped away my tears with his thumb.

I looked over at the others. "It worked", I said. "It-" I cut myself off when I noticed a shadow looming over us. I let go of my father. Me and Loki looked up to see a ship.

My eyes widened when I saw it firing at us. I was thrown across the room. I fell with Rocket, Rhodey and Bruce.

"Zia!" My father called out before he fell with Clint. I screamed as I fell.

I landed hard on my back. I groaned in pain. Rubble fell on top of me. Water slowly surrounds me. I was about to drown.
