I said goodbye to my parents and boarded the Hogwarts Express, quickly finding my seat with Ron., Hermione, and Harry.

"Are you guys excited for this year?" Ron asked.

"Yeah! I'm so looking forward to learning divination." I smiled.

The ride there was long and somewhat boring. Once we arrived, the first thing I spotted was his icy blonde hair.

"I'll be right back." I smiled at Hermione.

I lightly ran over to Draco.

"Hey." I smiled at him.

He turned around and looked at me, but he wasn't smiling like I was.

"L/N, Pity seeing you back here."

"What?" I chuckled at what I hoped was a joke.

He looked back at his friends, then at me.

"You shouldn't have come back. You don't belong here."

His friends laughed at me as I walked back to Harry and them.

"What was that all about?"

"It's Nothing." I sped up my walking as I heard Hermione whisper to the boys.

"Her and Draco spent all summer exchanging talking letters. She would tell me about it when she visited. She showed me a couple. You wouldn't even think it was Draco saying such beautiful things."

The boys were clearly disgusted at the fact that Draco and I had a little summer fling, or so I thought. Was it all just a joke to him? So him and his friends could laugh and bully me.

I didn't want to think about it so I went to my room to unpack. I'm in griffyndor.

A note flew to me and I read it in my head.

Meet me in moaning myrtle's bathroom during dinner -DM

yeah, fat chance draco.

A couple hours went by and dinner came around.

"Hey, you coming with?" Ron asked.

"I'll meet you guys there." I gave them all a smile in hopes that they wouldn't stay with me.

"Okay."

I walked to myrtle's bathroom and waited for draco.

I heard walking behind me so I turned around.

"Why are you being a prick, draco?" I crossed my arms.

"I'm so sorry y/n, I just can't go on with this anymore."

Like getting hit by a truck.

"Okay." I looked down at my shoes.

"Okay? That's it? You're not even going to put up a fight?"

"Clearly this was just a summer thing to you. A way to pass the time. I was the stupid one. To think that Draco Malfoy actually had feelings." I scoffed and moved closer to him. "I don't want you to talk to me, write to me, or even Look at me. You're a bloody prick and you broke my heart."

I pushed past him and went to the great hall for dinner.

I say next to the trio.

"What took you so long?"

"I had to use the bathroom." I shrugged.

Draco came into the room and sat next to crabbe and goyle. His normally perfect, sleek hair was slightly disheveled.

I noticed my friends looking at him, then back at me.

"Y/n, please tell me you didn't shag Draco." Hermione spike first.

"Yeah y/n, you know he's bad news."

"Did you forget that he tried to kill me?"

"I didn't shag draco okay! I told him to leave me alone and to never talk to me again." I stood up angrily and left the great hall, going to the bridge by Hagrid's.

"I know you told me not to talk to you," I heard draco. "But this summer wasn't a fling. I've never talked to anybody the way we talked this summer, okay? You are the only person I truly trust, ever. And I need you, y/n."

I looked at him with teary eyes.

"You wrote me the nicest things. I loved getting your letters and hearing your voice tell me I was beautiful and kind. But in person all you do is bully me to seem cool in front of your friends and I'm not letting myself into that kind of relationship."

"You want to be in a relationship? Officially?"

"Yeah, it would've been nice." I said angrily.

"Then let's do it."

"You want to be in a relationship with me, for real. Not some joke or scheme to get to my friends."

He shook his head and held my hand.

"Would you be my girlfriend?"

"Don't mess this up, Malfoy." I gave him a small smile and he pulled me in.

"This is gonna be perfect."
