Gabe (Locke and Key)//Omega Door

Me and my mom were at the Locke's house in Seattle when the accident happened. Only one of us came out of the house alive. Nina adopted me since we had no idea who my dad is, or was.,

Now we have moved to Matheson and started finding these magic keys. I stared at myself in the mirror. I wish I had they key that lets you change what you look like.

"Please tell me you aren't using the mirror key." Tyler asked from the doorway.

"No. Bode has it. Just making sure I look nice."  I gave him a small smile.

"You always do." He slipped on his shoes and we all left for school.

Tylers friend Javi was picking us up to take us to school.

"So, girls, how you liking matheson so far?" Tyler's friend asked.

Kinsey stayed silent so I had to speak. "Uh, it kinda sucks." I told the truth.

"You would be right." He smiled at me in the rear view mirror.

We got to school and Kinsey and I immediately got out.

"Thanks for the ride!" I yelled back at Javi and Tyler.

We got into the building and she left me for  Scot with one T. So I went over to the savini squad.

"You guys excited to see the caves?" I asked with a smile.

"Yeah, of course" Gabe smiled at me sweetly, he is cute, and really nice.

Kinsey and Scot soon joined us, laughing.

"Hey guys. You ready for the caves?" She asks.

"We were just talking about that. Are you sure it's safe?" Zara asked.

"Yeah. We'll go at low tide." Kinsey replied.

"See y'all later." I smiled and stood up, going to class.

"Y/n, wait up!" Gabe followed me. "I have a class down here too so I'll just walk with you."

"Okay." I smiled. I was definitely starting to like Gabe.

Later on, during our journey into the cave, instead of sticking to Kinsey's side, I was next to him.

We got to a part where we had to go down a bit, Gabe got in first and then grabbed my waist, pulling me down. His hands lingered as we looked at each other.

"Guys come on!" We heard Scot's voice through the tunnel. We separated and continued following the others, not from the back of the line.

I stared at the ground, getting glimpses of him looking over at me.

"Take a picture it'll last longer,"  I teased. I saw a flash and looked at him.

"I was being sarcastic, loser." I smiled.

"Well I'm a firm believer that beauty should be preserved."

"That was a good one, I've never heard that one before." I smiled. "Thank you."

I smiled and nodded as we kept walking for what felt like ages.

"I'll be back, I'm gonna go see if it goes deeper."

"I'll come with, you shouldn't go alone." Gabe walked over to me. We both continued to walk deeper into the cave.

"So what are we actually looking for?"

"A door. It glows blue. We think it has something to do with the keys." I told him as we kept walking.

"Is there a key that can put confidence in someone?"  He asked.

"Not that we've found. There is a key that lets you change what you look like. I really want that one."

"What? Why? You're beautiful."

"T-thanks. I want to make my skin nicer."

"In the least weird way possible, I love your skin. It's smooth and tan," We stopped walking. "And I don't want you to change anything else about yourself either. You look perfect."  He nodded awkwardly.

I grabbed the back of his neck, pulling his lips onto mine and backing up against the cave wall.

We both saw a faint glowing blue light coming from the right. I immediately stopped and walked to it quickly.

I got entranced in it.

"Y/n?" Gabe asked. "Y/n?"

I was too focused on the door to say anything back.

We heard the others yelling for us but I wouldn't move.

"Y/n, if you don't move we're going to die okay? Just like your mom's friends."

I seemed to snap out of it and look at him.

"What's happening?"

"The tide is coming in, we have to go!"

We both ran back as far as we could until we had to swim.

"Kinsey left her waterproof flashlight!" I grabbed it and we went under.

Halfway through we popped up for air.

"I don't think we're going to make it." I said. I was getting tired.

"We're going to make it, I promise."

We went back under and swam the rest of the way.

Scot helped me out of the water and I immediately turned to help Gabe.

"You saved my life." I hugged him and he hugged back.

"You would do the same for me."

We pulled apart a little bit before he leaned down and kissed me in front of the others.

"What is happening?"

"No fucking way." Scot laughed.

Then the serious shit hit. They all started yelling.

Kinsey, Gabe and I all went to key house to dry up.

Kinsey was in her room and Gabe and I were in my room.

"Thanks again for saving me."

"Of course. So I think I deserve to know about these keys now."

"Okay." I smiled and pulled out the two I had. Currently the memory key and the music box key.

"Kinsey and I used this on Eden."

"I know. I still think you guys kind of went to far."

"I'm sorry. It won't happen again. But it's getting late so I should go home. I'll talk to you tomorrow." He gave me a small kiss on the forehead.

"Goodnight. See you tomorrow."
