Three years after the first book takes place. Amara and Noah work for a new government agency. Getting in an accident, nobody knew of or what happened. Amara is rushed to the hospital, where she lies in acoma. When she finally wakes up, she has no memory of their time together. Noah, desperate to find her attacker and the truth, does his best to try to get Amara to remember who he is and what they had, all while they solve crimes and save innocent lives.
