Epidemic Pt 3: The Complications

The Plan was in full effect as every super hero team had begun to push back the forces that was the Monster Epidemic.

The Justice League, Justice League Dark, Doom Patrol, Metal Men, Justice League International, The Outsiders, The Marvel Family, The Teen Titans, and The Young Justice. Have began the strike back against this disease.

BACK IN METROPOLIS

Saitama stood watch as he looked down at the ruins that was now Metropolis. How could he have let this happen, he had the power necessary to stop any kind of antagonistic force with only a single punch, But yet he couldn't even save a single city. Was he a failure, did he fail his promise. Wasn't he strong enough or was he those things the people back in his world used to call him.

Was he a hack, just a thief who should have given it up a long time ago, he had the ability to stop a tragedy instantly, yet a little girl had her leg amputated today. That blood, that loss was on his hands.

It was his duty to make sure she didn't get hurt, it was his responsibility to save her. He remembered when he started calling himself a hero for fun, just a guy who did the whole Hero thing because he got a kick out of it.

He remembered when he got into the Hero association and he began calling himself a professional hero not really caring about the people he saved but just did it for the sake of doing it and the possability of growing in the rankings.

Who he was then and what he valued back then only made him feel worse. How could he live like that, how could he be that way. Some hero he was.

He looked at one of the monsters Super Girl Defeated and he was finding it really difficult to tell the difference between him and the giant Penguin wearing a "hug me" sweater.

He was no different then any of these monsters. Because if he was on the other side of the coin. He could easily destroy every living being on this planet and still feel nothing.

"Hey, nice work out there" said Super Girl as she congratulated Saitama on saving all the Civilian's. "I'm not sure that was all the Civilian's" said Saitama.

"No, that all of them" said Kara "I used my X Ray vision to see if their was any more" said Kara.

"Does your X Ray vision let you see corpses" said Saitama in which Super Girl responded "I Don't Know."

"Why so on edge" said Kara as she was not used too this Serious Saitama. As she then saw Saitama's fist clench making a fist and she saw the blood on his gloves. The blood on his suit.

"It's not your fault" said Kara trying to have Saitama Understand. "You can't save everyone" she continued but Saitama retorted "But I could have" said Saitama as he looked here in the eyes with an emotionless face and a single tear fallen from his right eye.

She was not ready for this Saitama for no man was.The Stupid Goofy Smile he usually had was long gone, the easy going, non-caring, lovable idiot was no where to be seen as her eye's opened wide.

And he passed her and got off the peak he was at leaving Kara alone with the now ruined city that was their home.

As Saitama now coming full grip with his decision he began walking and was now planning to leave Metropolis but before he could leave he was meet with the Leader of the Doom Patrol, The Cheif.

"It seems everything worked out well" said The Cheif as Saitama nodded. Giving The Cheif The Answer he was looking forward to getting.

"Is this really what you want" said The Cheif. "It something I need to do" said Saitama. "I understand Caped Baldy" said The Cheif with a Smile as Saitama hated that name But it did bring a bit of a Smirk on Saitama's face as Saitama then super jumped away.

"Till we meet again, One Punch Man Of Metropolis."

As Saitama left Metropolis he would then Find himself Traveling the world. With The Doom Patrol they decides to stay in Metropolis for the mean time for they wanted to make sure this place was at least on it's feet before they left. And for Kara this was her Home, these are her people. And she would remain here to protect the.

Deadman Decided to Stick around Metropolis longer because After Saitama's Sudden Disappearance she needed someone to keep her calm and cool.

With everyone working together to fight off the epidemic it only took them half a year to bring the disease to it's knees as The Climax of the Monster Epidemic was finally coming to a close.

As Batman and Constantine would eventually find Dr. Fate and Dr. Fate gave them a piece of the puzzle that they are looking for only if it wasn't a fucking riddle.

"To stop the Monster Within you must Extinguish The Extreme Temptation that Draws it" said Dr. Fate.

"Will that was a fucking Waste of Time" said Constantine.

"We will have to see what Diana or Green Lantern have gathered" said Batman as he and Constantine began to head back to the Watch Tower.

WITH GREEN LANTERN

"What do you mean you don't have anything that matches this description" said Green Lantern as the Core had no records of any sort of situation like this in the past instead of one. And that was The Orange Ring Of Avarice. Which Green Lantern wasn't going to go anywhere near that Freak.

Anyway Green Lantern would have to see What Bruce and Diana were able to Dig up.

Because he hit a dead end.

For the most part the Tide in this battle was changing for the better and eventually the time was coming for the Curtain To Fall.
