Gardening - Newt

There are so many moments you can share with anyone, someone, and you feel like that moment will last forever when you're with that someone. To you that someone is Newt. Since you've entered the Glade he was the only one to make you feel at peace. Over the months you've been here, you've developed feelings for your best friend Newt. You were too shy to do anything about it though.

"Hey Y/N, do you mind going to the garden and planting seeds with me?" Newt asks, interrupting you from your thoughts.

A slight blush creeps upon your cheeks as you nod your head. You head over toward the gardens together in silence. You noticed that the other gladers were looking at you. It freaked you out a little bit, but finally you made it to the garden. You made some small talk while gardening. During your conversation though, Newt did most of the talking. 

You couldn't help but notice how hot Newt looked. How his biceps would flex as he was digging up some of the holes for the seeds. Eventually Frypan called you for dinner. When you walked toward the Homestead, you couldn't help but notice Newt looking at you, as if you were the most beautiful person in the world. Again it made you blush and giggle slightly. 

You picked up your food and headed to a table together. When you got there, Newt pulled out the chair for you. He was such a gentleman. 

"Thanks for helping me in the garden, love. I had fun." Newt told you while taking a chunk of his pasta and putting it in his mouth. 

"No problem." You replied looking down at your meal. 

"Y/N, when the walls of the maze close could you meet me behind the map room? I have something important to tell you." Newt said shakily. 

You simply nodded. Later that night the walls close so you started to head out behind the map room. You saw Newt holding flowers. "For you." He told you placing the flowers in your hand. You started to blush. 

"Y/N, ever since you got to the glade a few months back you're all I think about. I lie awake at night wondering what you're thinking, if you're thinking about me, I love the way you blush whenever you notice me looking at you or when you notice a lot of people are looking at you. Your shyness is honestly the cutest thing ever! So what I'm trying to say is I love you. I love everyday more and more. So would you be my girlfriend?" Newt asked you.

You replied by simply kissing him.
