O l i v i a walked in like she owned the house.

There were no shoes inside but she walked in with her ice blue heels clicking against the white floor anyway.

Even Girl didn't approach her, she cowered behind Elijah's leg

"Aren't you going to take that upstairs?" She asked Elijah who was still holding her Hillfiger duffle bag, but didn't make any effort to carry it upstairs for her

"Fine. Guess chivalry is dead" Olivia snarled, snatching her bag back.

She stopped by the stairs where Lana was and arched her perfectly painted brow.

"Good morning Keilana" she said with a brief smile before her expression fell "You're in my way"

Reluctantly Lana stepped to the side, giving her space to pass

"Why is she here Elijah?" Lana whispered

"What's going on?"

"Don't know" he replied, he looked just as confused as she was

Lana sighed and turned right back around from the way she'd come from, going upstairs and to Elijah's room where he followed her

She ran her hands over her face, frustrated with all this drama. With Olivia being everywhere she turned. She hoped he'd explain or say anything first, but he didn't. He sat in the chair by his old desk and waited for her.

"How close is your family to Olivia exactly?" Lana asked, trying to make sense of why the hell she'd be here, with a duffle bag and the obvious intent to stay

"You said she works with your dad but..." Lana trailed off "School's over. There's no work to be done"

"What's going on Elijah. Who is she really and why is she here?"

Elijah fiddled with the black watch on his left wrist and mumbled "It's complicated"

"Is it? Or do you not want to tell me?" Lana asked him, facing him "How do you expect me not to be worried when you're obviously keeping secrets?"

She waited for his reply but didn't get one. Lana shot up from the bed and walked to the farthest corner of his room away from him.

"Why is it so hard to get to know you. I haven't even seen any of this stuff before I came over here" she said, gesturing to his wall of pictures from high school, the awards, and prizes

She didn't even know he played the piano. She'd never seen a picture of him, his family, no one until she came here.

"I don't know anything about you or your past or Olivia"
